Perched on the serene waterfront of Salt Lake, “The Palms” is a dreamy 3BR/2BA coastal retreat. Fully renovated interiors are furnished in a colorful style and have plenty of natural light. Highlights include a gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, designer light fixtures, and new floors.

Lounge on the breezy back deck with family and friends or stroll along the private pier out to the water. Just 6 miles away, soak up the sun at Rockport Beach.

LIVING AREA

Expansive windows and French doors offer stunning views of Salt Lake -- unwind in the inviting living room, replete with beachy decor and two sofas around the 50” smart TV with DVD player (Spectrum high-speed internet included).

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up home-cooked meals in the gourmet kitchen, outfitted with sparkling granite countertops, upgraded appliances, and a tile backsplash. Convenient gadgets include a blender, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and wine fridge.

When it’s time to eat, gather at the table with place settings for six.

BED & BATH

This one-story cottage sleeps up to six guests in the three bedrooms.

The tranquil primary bedroom offers a stately queen bed and seamless access to the back deck. The en-suite bathroom features a sleek vanity and a walk-in shower with subway tile.

The sunny second bedroom has a plush queen bed and coastal décor, while the third guest room has a full bed and aquamarine accents.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Take in views of Salt Lake on the expansive outdoor deck, offering seating for 10.

Your waterfront paradise includes a private pier with two benches, two boat cleats for docking, and a fish cleaning area. Kayakers can conveniently access the water via a ladder on the pier, while fishermen will appreciate the green fishing light at the end of the pier.

Fire up the grill for the fresh catch of the day.

Kick back and relax on the two rocking chairs on the front porch.

A laundry room with a washer/dryer, complimentary Spectrum high-speed Wi-Fi, and beach chairs are provided.

Parking is available for three vehicles in the driveway.

LOCATION

Find Rockport Beach within a quick 12-minute drive; wade, boogie board, and sunbathe at the first beach in Texas to receive the Blue Wave eco-endorsement. Geocache, go boating, and observe wildlife at Goose Island State Park.

Visit the Fulton Mansion, a national historic site and one of the earliest examples of Second Empire architecture constructed in Texas.

**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The purple house was Fantastic. Loved the private pier. Had trouble with the TV. The dish remote was missing. We notified the hostess and she came right over with a remote and fixed the problem. She was Great. We will definitely come back to Rock port and the purple house

Nice 3 bedroom home,enjoyed the fishing pier.2 beds were in need of replacing mattress maybe. Disposal had an odor.Had most of what we needed for cooking purposes. Nice wine storage refrigerator. Left handrail needs attention. A little wobbling for going down the steps out back. Overall had a great cooling system for this hot Texas weather! We appreciated that! Thanks!

The house was as cute as can be but the steps going to the pier were too steep for my husband. We could not fish because he had no access to the pier and deck. We ended up cutting our trip short. We booked 3 nights but only stayed one. He was disappointed that he couldn't night fish.from the pier.
