There was a missing microwave plate that we didn’t notice until late the night before we left and I was told when I got to the desk that I should’ve told them immediately. That was not my priority, waiting on them while in my pajamas making a snack before bed. You also had to call them to get them to the front desk as it seems they run the hotel there and next door. It was inconvenient but it was kinda cheap so I guess that’s okay? Overall pretty okay, I’m just scared they’re going to try to charge me for the microwave plate.

There was no elevator. We arrived when it was dark out and the property was not well lit with few cars in the parking lot. It didn’t feel safe. We checked in and our room key was a reprogrammed old Pizza Hut gift card with the room number written on it with a Sharpie. It was very loud. I could hear every door shut and the room next to me clearly. Our room was clean and the staff friendly.

The room was quiet & clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower kind of sucked--the water pressure was weak and it made a loud noise. Also the towel rack fell off the wall when I pulled a towel off of it. Not all of the amenities listed on the booking were actually there (ie, the booking said there would be a bidet, but there wasn't). There arent many other options in the area.

I arrived to a dark lobby, once I received my room key, I entered the room that was never cleaned, went back to front desk, got another room, entered that room, it was also dirty and not clean, I went back down to the front desk to get a different room, and 3 time was a charm. The issue in the room was the shower control was about falling of the show wall, looked like someone just tried to apply a bunch of caulk all around it. When I woke up for breakfast, I eat and never saw an employee. Seems to have bad management, it is an out dated hotel.

The lobby doors were propped open no air conditioning no lights on had to wait for someone to check us in. It is a creepy location with a creepy hotel definitely not staying there again.

This is 2nd visit in 2 weeks (have family in town) and this visit was worse. The room with king bed we reserved was smoky smelling even this is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. Was offered a double bed room. Said no. Then offered a room with king bed suite. We had to pay up charge. Jacuzzi tub in bathroom had a nice ring of mold around it. Floor grout is black. Breakfast was slim pickings. Just grabbed coffee and headed to McDonald’s!

Had reserved room with king bed. At check-in there were none left! Why bother making a reservation. Was offered a handicap room with a double bed. We took it because we were tired. But a double bed really does not work for a plus-sized couple. Stayed 2 nights and breakfast was limited on what was left at 8:00.

When I got to the hotel, the picture I saw was not of this hotel and the parking lot is in very poor condition. Very decieving. The front desk agent was never seen. Always had to be paged, and was always running in the front door from outside; looked to be from the hotel next door to be honest. There was no elevator so you had to take the stairs. The door to the second floor was wedged open by a brick so it wouldn’t close! I was not given any information about how to access WiFi, or if the hotel even had WiFi. Was not told what time breakfast started/stopped. I got to my room and it was pretty clean and as pictured. However, when I went to shower I found the exhaust fan didn’t work, the vent cover for said fan was covered in mold, the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall so the shower curtain wouldn’t actually stay where it needed too, and my shower water was barely warm. On my second night there, someone was going up and down the hallway yelling and shaking door handles to rooms. There was quite the commotion. I didn’t complain because I was barely there but when I attempted to check out a day early due to family emergency and I was poorly treated being told they were refusing to refund me, I felt this needed to be said. They do not care about their guests. They care about money!!! I checked out anyway and took the loss of almost $100.00 to get out of there!! Stay anywhere else!!!

The exterior was run down with no landscaping, the beds are ok but the linens were outdated and dingy. Pillows were small and uncomfortable. Tv is tiny. Rooms and common areas are pretty clean and maintained. Just a little outdated and uncomfortable. Price reflects the conditions I suppose. A cheap over night stay.

Fit our needs
The place looked deserted, and we had to wait for someone to check us in. The lobby looked clean. Our room was definitely an older decor but it had a microwave and refrigerator which was great. The room smelled like patchouli which my husband liked but I hated. The shower was warm but the faucet had great pressure. Overall it fit our needs for a good price.

Wouldnt recommend the super 8 in Rochester to anyone, cheap you get what you pay for. Not enough help for starters. Bed is too hard for my personal comfort, lousy choices for breakfast i believe is due to lack no help. Just manager and his wife. The temperature of the water taking a shower unacceptable, barely warm disgusting

Stayed one night upon arrival the front door was open no A/C in lobby flies everywhere someone sleeping on a sofa. Booked two rooms they tried to tell me I only had one room booked finally got that straightened out. The place is definitely in need of a good cleaning and updated. One of our rooms had dirty towels in the bathroom. The A/C in room was pretty good.

Before I booked, I read many reviews, there were no other options available near so I was not expecting much. Here is a summary, Pro. 1.Great location. 2.Clean Rooms. 3.Free Breakfast. 4.Polite staff. 5.Everything in the room worked fine. Con 1.Heavy cigarette smell in room 2.No elevator 3.Towels are small and worn out. 4.Building is Old. 5.Outside grounds are not maintained well. Definitely would stay here again!

The property, especially outside, was not kept up. Trash, un-mowed lawn weeds, a shopping cart outside an entrance etc. Stairwells were dirty. Room was fine but otherwise not a good appearance. We would not utilize this property again.

Room was clean and had been updated. Staff was friendly. The building and grounds were not maintained well and the side door into the stairway would not close on its own and would stay open allowing anyone to enter. Landscaping around the building was very over grown.

We got to our Motel very late and the room we were supposed to have was not available. We took another room they had. After going in the room, we found out the room was never cleaned from the previous People that stayed there the night before. My wife was furious over this. She went down to complain about this to the front desk. They apologized about this and we got another room for the night in the same motel. They need more help as the night manager had to also go next door to handle managing another motel. They had a small breakfast available in the morning.
