Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!!

Beautiful property with lush folage. Very centrally located with shops, eateries and beach. Use of beach chairs a plus. Very friendly and helpful owners, called me cab to airport and always answered my emails quickly. You will have to bring toiletries. Complete kitchen. Highly recommended

Love the feeling of being inside a beautiful tropical garden. Property is kept very clean and is situated exactly at 2 minutes walking to the beautiful Half Moon beach. Hes, I time it ;-) Our “mame room” was huge and well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nicely decorated with the cutest dining set ever. Room looks like a small cute cavern. Husband and I joke about living in The Flinstones era. Loved it, we felt like children again LOL Personnel very kind and helpful, the owners treat guests with respect and made us feel welcome and appreciated Thank you so much Mame Trees family. When back to Roatán, for sure we’ll stay again Saludos a todos de Ingrid and Bernardo

Stayed for 11 nights & the location is perfect. Anything you need is within walking distance. Only negative was the “step down”, when exiting the toilet. I didn’t have the light on & crashed into door frame, first day. Bloody arm that needed a lot of neosporin & bandaids. Would definitely stay there again.

we have address the issue and done a full inspection and now have a maintenance contract with a company for this whole yr to get read of any pest on the property

Me gusto que es moderna y no me gusto la falta de aseo y comunicacion. Parece que alquilas temporario. El baño tenia mucho olor aunque parecia limpio. No hay seguridad por lo que hay que estar atento con las pertenencias.

Would not stay here again
There was no office to check in, everything was a bit sketch. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, we barely slept. Room was dirty. No door for the washroom, just a curtain. No drinking water was provided. The owner had a loud party at his place behind our room. I guess you get what you pay for.

we don't provide drinking water and we give you instructions to check in. The room was clean when you checked in, if you dirty it afterwards, we only clean after check out.

It was a great experience. It’s located right in front of the beach. Place was cleaned. Everything is located with in walking distance. I would definitely go back and stay at the same place.

the Mame Tree was excellent. Right across the road from the beach. The room had a good kithchen for long term stays. Diana and Martin were very friendly. We were in walking distance to everything. We will be going back hopefully for a long term stay. Thank you to everyone at Mame Tree J & R

Loved Mame Trees. We will return.
We really enjoyed our stay in West End, and loved Mame Trees. It had a full kitchen, spacious room, and so easy checking in. We will definitely be back!

Este hotel esta cerrado, mi cliente llego al hotel y estaba cerrado no habia nadie, no es posible que esten agarrando dinero y no contestan llamadas ni nada, es una falta de respeto.

It was difficult to get in touch with the manager or reception at the beginning, the phone number was wrong. But everything else was ok. It was a clean apartment and with enough space for a couple with 1 child. Besides the apartment has a balcony with a discrete view to the street and the bay.

Horrible experience, Aaron horrible person.
Was horrible experience, I can’t recommend to anyone this place, Aaron one of the owner was un respectful, he canceled my reservation even when I prove was his mistake not mine. He is the most un respectful person. Don’t go there, because you will have a horrible experience.

WE TOLD THE GUEST MONTHS AGO THAT WE DIDNT TAKE CREDIT CARDS AT THE MOMENT. We also told them that for christmas and new years we where getting full so we required a deposit to secure the reservation because we get allot of fake bookings but the guest never responded. we told them again that we needed a deposit or we could not hold the reservation. they sent the deposit for the 2 rooms and we reserved it.they wanted to book 4 more places on another reservation but i told them we where full, we only have the 2 rooms they booked, they agreed then showed up with 18 people expecting 6 rooms when we told them over and over again that they only reserved 2 rooms, but Karla just couldn't seem to understand us, we offered her the deposit back cause she didn't want the 2 rooms if the rest couldn't stay with them. So they lifted and stayed somewhere else.

my second time at this hotel you can't beat it right across the street from the beach near all west end action the family owners go that extra mile i will be a regular from now on i have found my roatan retreat for life don't change a thing the studios are great clean and comfortable can't wait to get back thanks for a pleasant stay

we don't take credit cards at the moment, so there was no charge for this room. i told the guest this so i don't see whats the problem.
