No vayan al HOTEL FORESTERS BAY RESORT
El Hotel Foresters es una ESTAFA. Desde el ingreso a la propiedad del hotel es un DESASTRE. No está asfaltado es de terracería, con grandes agujeros, olor fétido de agua acumulada y no tiene iluminación. Las habitaciones son incómodas, amuebladas con equipo de cocina y muebles viejos. El agua "potable" que sale de los grifos, es agua salada y con mal olor, los drenajes del hotel están a flor de tierra no tienen fosa séptica y el agua la descargan al mar por medio de un canal. El hotel tiene muy poca iluminación exterior y el diseño de las habitaciones absolutamente incómodas y en mal estado.

No recomendable visitar el hotel malisimo estado
El hotel se encuentra en mal estado, las instalaciones descuidadas, las habitaciones sucias, el agua para bañarse y cepillarse los dientes esta contaminada, la habitación que me toco no se podia poner llave. No recomiendo visitar el lugar menos si se viaja con familia.

This is a lovely property. Mr. Foster and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. They really get to know the guests and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Everything met our expectations.

Staff were very friendly, had a nice complimentary drink on arrival. But the room was very dated with old sheets and looked nothing like the one in the photos. There was no soap or shampoo on arrival.

Great Island but don’t stay in treehouse
We stayed in the treehouse, which looked great in photos on hotel.com but in truth was greatly overpriced. We have stayed in cheap beach huts in India and Thailand so don’t mind roughing it but we expect to pay accordingly. The most they should charge is $20. The staff were lovely and very helpful and we loved the Island of Roatan.

Hello friends!!! Thank you for your opinion. The life in Roatan is so expensive, the ligth montly is $10,000.00. If the price is $20 per night better no open the Hotel. Have a nice day!!

The only negative thing about this place was the fact that they lost electricity Sunday morning. That was very inconvenient for us but we managed. The people are great. The view and the beach is beautiful.

I went to Fosters with 4 other people.They gave us all rooms that had NO hot water. There were small ants crawling all over the floor in all of our rooms. They have no idea how to prepare food. We were served fajitas with no tortillas. The beans and rice were cold. The beer was NOT cold, coffee was $2 a cup and I got 2 refills that were $2 each so I was charged $6 for coffee in the morning. We were short changed twice, an accident, I doubt it. The small stove in the kitchenette did not work in my room. They started playing loud music at 7:00am so we could never sleep in. The inside door handle in one of the rooms stopped working so one of our party got locked inside the room. The music was so loud he could not even call out the window to get some help, he had to call us on his phone. We went to the office to complain, the manager followed him back to the room, spent 10 minutes fiddling with the handle and then left the room and shut the door and locked him in the room again. One of their employees who worked in the bar, Eddie, was great and the maids were friendly and helpful. All in all, I would never stay there again and DO NOT recommend this resort to anyone. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

You came with a customer who visit us last year, whom we love very much and who we always try to please every extra service that he demans. Such as providing him with a personal barber. We apologize for every inconvenient. When you told us about the door issue we move you to another room. It's the first time a customer complains about that specific room and we are working on it so that this never happens again. We truly apologize for your bad experience and hope you will visit us again with a free night's stay. Respectfully, The Owner.

Great location, staff good overall, facility is a little old, some stuff isn't working properly like faucets, hot water and housekeeping wasn't the best but I would come back, very friendly staff, close to West end, nice location on West Bay!

Setting was beautiful. The room had a spectacular view. occasional problems with power outages and hot water were more than offset by the friendly and accommodating staff.

Beautiful spot with a lovely beach and very friendly and accommodating staff, including Mr. Foster himself, who made a special trip to bring us towels. Also restaurant staff was wonderful, including Omar who provided great service and helped me retrieve a friend's lost wallet.

Thanks for visiting us. The most provabale that it is a joke. This place is paradise. We have detected that anonymous people who write bad grades have very serious personality problems. The most courageous thing is that more than 95% of our guests leave very happy and most of them return. Most think that this is a beautiful place. And every day we strive to offer the best service to our customers.

Fosters delivers great beach experience
Fosters has an excellent beach at eastern end of West Bay Beach. There isn't a constant stream of walkers passing by like other resorts. The semi-sub glass bottom boat is right there. I enjoyed an hour on it for $25. Fosters is popular with cruise ship passengers so expect some of them every few days. The dive shop has 3 one tank dives per day, it is usually only 5 minutes by boat to the dive sites. Although the $50 rate per dive including equipment is a bargain, Fosters guests get a discount. I didn't want a full breakfast before an 8:30 dive but a banana bread guy walks through before that, perfect. Fosters offers a great beach, great dive shop and convenience to shops and restaurants at a fair price.

The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly, we found that out because we kept having to ask for things to be fixed. NO water one morning, pool of water from AC on living room floor, awful smell another day. Most mornings around 7:00 am guy came through with blower spraying some kind of poison all around each cottage. Our windows were open...arghhh. 10+ bees came in each evening and died on the floor.. This is a great beach, lots of nightlife...but Fosters has brown slightly smelly stream flowing through middle of hotel grounds out to ocean. Expect prices for restaurants and activities to be same as US. I highly recommend buying both kinds of car insurance if you rent a car. Kids, motorcycles, dogs run out into the street at the drop of a hat. Crazy traffic passing on curves and hills. Good cheap massage at Fosters. Bring bug spray for sure.

Good afternoon, thank you for your comments. We did everything possible for your stay to be happy. Several times Mr. Foster asked how they were and you answered that well, that was the opportunity to mention the things that you detail in your comments. We miss that if you are a Christian, mention everything you did not like so much and do not mention how well we treated and served you while you lived in the Hotel: We gave you all the drinking water, we gave you the coffee you wanted, we washed it his clothes without any cost (tipped $ 5.00), we changed his bed break every 3 days, we cleaned him very well every day throughout his house, we kept no insects around his cabin, and certainly if he had complained to us We will return part of your payment. The majority of people who visit Hotel Fosters in West Bay leave happy and grateful for their stay at such a low cost that we know that we can not please 100% of the guests. We will always achieve better results with the person-to-person dialogue, we understand that we are still a third world country and with comments like these thrown to the whole world they do not help much to our image, even though we do not get to receive all the races of the They visit us in such a beautiful paradise that for 200 years they have belonged to an example family for all those who value the honest and painstaking work we give to our visitors and friends. We continue to grow and we will continue to improve. Respectfully.

It is a nice hotel by the beach...older but love that i had a small kitchen..They came in and cleaned fine. we were able to watch the beach from our outside porch table..great to have morning coffee there. Rustic but works and you're right by the nice beach..Power went out once during our week stay but it's an island...
