« Couldn't resist the name. The hotel was in the perfect location for a short trip in York. It was walkable to everything but still tucked away enough that I didn't have to worry about loud people all night. Fair warning this hotel doesn't have an elevator, only stairs so if you're like me and tend to over pack - you've been warned. That being said staff were super helpful in bringing my luggage up and down the stairs. Would gladly stay here again. »

« Excellent site location, great staff & food, room was clean except for very dirty & sticky floor. Room on upper floor rear face had a major floor maintenance issue, I needed to clean my sleepers to remove the sticky stuff ! »

« The room was minimalistic with a wet room bathroom and very comfortable bed with quiet surroundings so had a good nights sleep.The breakfast was cooked fresh to customer’s request. No cereals were offered but fruit juice was on the table when we arrived. Overall good value for money and helpful staff. Flowers outside were welcoming. »

« Excellent stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till we left. A very pet friendly hotel, the staff went out of their way to please the dogs as much as us. « Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. « Great, small and cosy hotel with lot of charm. A bar/restaurant at the ground floor with jazz band playing in the night. Got a great room with lot of space and very clean. Personnel very nice and helpful. »

« Have never been to a Glamping pod before but would absolutely visit the little hide again. The pod was a good size and had everything we needed. Great location and the showers/ toilets are well kept. Would come back next time and will bring a disposable bbq to use at the shared area. »
