Hotel sans aucun service d acceuil. Par contre il est pratique de pouvoir rentrer a toute heure avec un code recu avant l arrivee. Pas de restaurant ni bar. Petit dej pas terrible, pas beaucoup de choix et pas qualitatif, le pire de tous les hôtels que j'ai fait en Islande. Assez propre dans l ensemble mais hygiène douteuse, des traces blanches sur les coussins qui ne doivent pas souvent etre nettoyés et cheveux sur les oreillers. Chambre et SDB convenables. Parking tres petit, pas de place pour tout le monde. Localisation pas top, à côté d'une grande route. Cela reste le pire hôtel de mon séjour en Islande. Certaines guesthouses avec SDB commune ont un rapport qualité prix bien meilleure. Tout depend de ce qu'on attend d'un hotel, mais il ne vaut clairement pas la note qui lui a été attribuée

Hôtel situé légèrement en dehors du centre ville mais proche de magasins et restaurants. Chambre simple et fonctionnelle, hôtel récent et design. Pas de réception, accès à l'hôtel et la chambre à l'aide d'un code reçu par email.

L’hôtel est très beau et propre, le Check in est très facile, le parking en sous sol est un plus, il n’est pas très grand mais nous n’avons jamais eu de mal à nous garer. Le petit déjeuner est très bien et c’est un plus dans un pays où tout est très cher. Il n’est pas dans le centre mais tout est à 10-15min en voiture.

Pourquoi pas...
Nouvel hôtel à 10/15min en voiture du centre ville. Chambre au calme, standard mais moderne et joliment décorée. Pas de bouilloire contrairement à la grande majorité de chambres en Islande. La literie est confortable. Petit pkg d’une 20aine de places selon la réceptionniste, cela fait léger. Il y a de nombreux pkg aux alentours mais avec des panneaux écrits en islandais et des pictos d’enlèvement. Check in automatique possible (vous recevez un mail) et très pratique. Petit dej varié jusqu’à 10h pile poil (thé, café et jus, toutes les autres boissons chaudes sont payantes).

I must commend the staff, from the beginning. Maybe we got lucky due to the timing of the trip but, they allowed us to check-in early since we had arrived very early, 0800 early and check-in was not supposed to be until 1500. Breakfast was great everyday and we were also able to join in the day of our early check-in. Then later in the week we had tried through a few different apps to park as the parking garage was full at the hotel since we came back late. We called the front desk service multiple times and they were aware of our plight and allowed us to park in an unofficial spot as we had rented a Jimny just small enough to fit. Would definitely come here again, room was cozy for us and there were lots of options for pick-up for different activities!

We enjoyed our stay here with the staff being extremely friendly!! The breakfast was amazing and a great way to start the day !! The only complaint was that there isn’t enough parking which was mentioned in a “ First come , first serve basis “ . My suggestion would be that as a guest we would have to register with the hotel prior to our arrival that we have a car rented and indicate what days so that the hotel can arrange a parking pass with a nearby lot . Nice hotel. Good space in room, clean, breakfast is nice. Only downside is it is a bit far from the center of town, requiring a taxi (expensive) or bus to go anywhere.

We loved our stay at Oddsson Hotel!! It was impeccable, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to book all of our activities and excursions through the hotel with pick up and delivery to and from the hotel!!! I highly recommend Oddsson Hotel to anyone traveling to Iceland for the first time.

Great property. Small parking garage, but we never had any issue finding space. Lots of parking around the hotel as well. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. Breakfast was awesome! Our family also loved the games and books available.

Perfect location if you’re heading off to explore Iceland. Stayed for 4 nights and although I had read how difficult parking was at the hotel in other reviews we always found a place to park under the hotel. There are lifts to all floors from the car park. The drinks are good value compared to everywhere else we went whilst touring. We had a triple room which was large and had a nice modern bathroom. We went for a Chinese just down the road (left from hotel) which was reasonably priced too and very large portions of your hungry.

ODDSSON Hotel is the place to stay in Reykjavík. Check in/out was effortless. Easy pick up and drop off for tour activities. Included breakfast was more than ample with lots of choices. Bus stop nearest the hotel is Gresas - #2, 14 and 15. Grocery is across the street, 5 minutes walk. The staff are always willing to answer questions and assist. Definitely will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at the ODDSSON for 3 nights and it was lovely, really easy checking in since you do not need to queue in reception as they send you a code prior to your Stay and that’s how you get in and out of the property and your room, great location, lovely breakfast, staff were great, the room was nice and clean at arrival and I like how it was always warm, if I do go to Iceland again I would definitely stay at ODDSSON. Car park is limited so don’t expect to park there all the time, luckily we did but there is plenty of street car park near by as an option.

I found this hotel via Expedia and decided to take a chance based on reviews and I’m glad I did. Breakfast was great every morning I enjoyed having coffee fresh fruit and waffles every morning and it’s wonderful it’s included with the stay. The staff is friendly, the rooms were clean and updated. Overall I would recommend and stay here again very pleased with our stay. It is an hour walk to downtown which I did once but only 15 minutes if you take a taxi. 10 minutes taxi ride to BSI.
