« Super accueil chaleureux et très humain. Chambre propre et sans aucune faute. La peinture dans la salle de bain est à revoir pour que ça fasse plus neuf. Nous avons passé une très belle nuit. »

« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »

« Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial. »

« We had an excellent stay in Castle Gate Guest House for a friend's wedding. The hosts were very accommodating. Check in was so easy and the room was fantastic. Highly recommend for a trip to Alnwick. »

« Bed and Beakfast bien placé, à proximité de Seahouses, très calme, chambre charmante, seul défaut: la salle de bain avec une baignoire, difficile d'y prendre une douche (pas d'accroche au mur pour le pommeau, ni rideau de douche). Petit déjeuner en supplément à commander la veille, large choix (œufs au bacon, porridge, toasts...), Vanessa, la propriétaire est très aimable. »

« We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. She is also very knowledgeable about the local area having lived there for 20+ years. Shes more than happy to offer some great suggestions. The breakfast that she...
