« Situated near the station and at the top of the main drag, this hotel is in dire need of some tlc. They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. « The double bed matress was really bad, probably the worst I have slept in. It has lots of potential but missed the mark on a few things. We had a double room but only 1 cup was in the room and 1 coat hanger. It had a mini fridge but wasn't working. It did have air con. Breakfast could be extended until at least 10.30 as a couple when we were there arrived at 10am to be told breakfast had finished. So as an urgent task replace all mattresses or at least Room 8 »

« This quirky stay was right up our street, accommodation was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the views were beautiful and a relaxing and calm environment. the staff were so accommodating and pleasant with great sense of humour and genuine people.
