« We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house while in town for my sister’s graduation. Coincidentally, it was also my birthday and our 14th wedding anniversary that same week, which made the trip even more special. On our last evening, we enjoyed a peaceful barbecue on the lovely deck, overlooking the serene lake—a perfect way to end our stay.The house was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. « We had an amazing stay, this home goes above and beyond to meet all your needs, many before you even know what you need! The home is gorgeous, with space for everyone to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy the view. We loved sitting in all the porches and enjoying the views, usually with a freshly brewed coffee or tea. We stayed here for our son’s VMI graduation, and I would recommend this location to anyone with an event in the area. »

« My husband and 3 kids were traveling for a full family trip. To shorten our drive for the kids, we booked this place and missy had all details ready to go on check in day! The hot tub was perfect for my kids and the fire pit was perfect for my husband and I! Missy’s cozy house really allowed my family to wind down before the next long drive. Thank you very much for the fond memories my family made:) »

« Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay. »

« This place was great for our needs! It had three separate bedrooms with comfortable beds, making it ideal for a group or family. Access was generally easy, though it may be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs. The front door was a bit tricky—it required a firm push to open. There was a slight cat odor, possibly from a previous guest, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Overall, these were minor issues and didn’t take away from the experience. I would definitely stay here...
