First the positive - the apartment was new and beautiful. We really liked the furnishings and the spaciousness. It was great to have a full kitchen stocked with utensils, washer and dryer, etc. We liked the facility overall. The courtyard with the pool was very pleasant and surprisingly breezy, with good sunlight too.
The negatives for us were:
-Check-in was EXTREMELY complex, difficult, and lengthy
-Our room was on the first floor, we were forced to park in the sun on the 6th floor of the parking deck, even though were were at least 100 empty spaces on the floors below.
-No one offered us a luggage cart or mentioned that they were available
-So many things ran on an app, including door locks, map, customer service (which I believe is AI-powered), and we had problems with all of it, even though we are tech-savvy people
-Maintenance work was happening at the hot tub/pool area; very noisy and we were not sure if the pool was open (would also have appreciated knowing this before booking)
-Rodent feces in one bedroom and closet
-SO. MUCH. SECURITY.
-Poor customer service. Getting an extra night was a hassle. Every single thing we needed was a hassle. We got way too many texts. So many rules and the staff seemed focused on punitive enforcement. We didn't feel welcome and the process of staying there was not in keeping with the price.
