Proximity to the ocean is the key feature of this house, and it is mostly what you're paying for. The house is fine but nothing special -- except for the screened-in porch and balcony, which are awesome! The AC can't keep up with the size of the house. It always feels sticky and humid indoors. The two second-floor bedrooms are roasting while the other is freezing (during 80-ish outdoor temperatures). All three full baths are dated / poorly remodeled, with rusty shower curtain rods and flimsy tub inserts. The kitchen lacks some key items, like a grill brush and a lighter, but is otherwise unremarkable.Although advertised, there isn't true off-street parking. The driveway isn't long enough for a normal vehicle (maybe a Smart Car), and the off-street parking pad is a pile of gravel on top of large tree roots. A truck could climb it, but that's about it. The garage was excellent for storing bikes and beach wagons, but car parking inside is prohibited. The cleaners didn't do a great job before we arrived, as there were game pieces and food in the couch cushions, a Kindle in a bedroom, and detritus under the beds. It's a great gathering place to use as a hub for a large group to get back and forth to the beach quickly, but it's not a fantastic house.
