« A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back! »

« The bach is excellent, light, clean and comfortable. What makes this bach exceptional are the extras... a good sauna, a relaxing spa pool and a cold bath for the (fool)hardy. There was electrolyte water to drink afterwards and craft supplies rather than a TV which was a nice touch. We could only stay one night this time didn't have time to ride the bikes around Point Wells which is a charming little settlement. « The property is cool. We took our elderly mum. The entrance to the house is flat and was easy for her to navigate. The house is well appointed in Kiwi chic, very comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and bath is very tidy, address was very easy to find, 2 mins from the Warkworth Township. Steve is a top chap, nothing is a problem. The sheep on the other hand were a complete disappoinment, generally disinterested in us. »
