« For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better. »

« Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. »

« I've been spending our annual "family" week throughout the Adirondack Park every year for the past decade. This particularly stay was enhanced by a well organized and efficiently designed cabin with extremely comfortable accommodations.The modern bathrooms (3 full and a 4th half bathroom) were a plus for our family of 8. The exterior recreation area was no exception, with kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, picnic table and seating all in a close-knit outdoor area with multiple levels. Beautiful...
