Fall asleep to the sound of the creek and wake up to ponderosa pines stretching up the canyon walls. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sits directly on the water in Hisega, one of the Black Hills` most tucked-away communities, yet you`re only 15 minutes from downtown Rapid City.

This home was tastefully designed to bring peace and enjoyment. The running water can be heard throughout the house with each bedroom off the deck. The private study is straight from the storybooks. 10/10!

The main level is where this place really shines. An open living and dining area with exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, and a stone fireplace sets the tone the moment you walk in. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, and the round dining table seats six with views of the surrounding hills through oversized windows.
A separate sitting room off the main living area features a second stone fireplace, vaulted wood-paneled ceilings, built-in cabinetry, and window seats. This is the kind of room where you cancel your dinner reservation and stay in.

The primary bedroom opens directly onto the deck through sliding glass doors, so you can step outside and look down at the creek from bed. A second bedroom is warm and well-appointed with rich green walls and a king bed. A cozy third sleeping area with a daybed and wood-paneled walls rounds out the bedrooms.

Downstairs, the game room has concrete floors, foosball, a pinball machine, and its own entrance to the yard. Plenty of space for kids or anyone who needs to burn off some energy.


The Outdoors
The wraparound deck runs the full length of the home and sits directly above the creek. Grab a chair and watch the water move. The yard stretches down to the bank, and the porch swing underneath the deck is one of the best seats in the house.
From the aerial view, you`ll see exactly how private this property is: nestled deep in the canyon, surrounded by ponderosa pine forest on all sides, with the creek running right past the home. Only a few neighbors are within view.

The Location
Hisega is a small, quiet community along the creek in the central Black Hills. Despite the seclusion, Rapid City is a quick 15-minute drive, giving you easy access to groceries, dining, and everything else you need. From here, you`re well positioned for all major Black Hills attractions:
Mount Rushmore: 45min
Crazy Horse Memorial: 55 min
Custer State Park: 60 min
Deadwood: 45 min

You will have full access to everything in the house except owners closet.

We’re available to help from 7 AM to 10 PM every day via call, text, or message. After hours, we switch to emergency-only mode, phone calls only, please. And fair warning: I’m a heavy sleeper, so you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞

Pet Policy
Your well-behaved dog is welcome. We ask that pets stay off the furniture and are never left unattended in the home. There is a $75 pet fee and you are responsible for any damage by the pet.

Things to Know
This home accommodates up to 4 guests. The creek is beautiful but unsupervised. Please keep an eye on children and pets near the water. Cell service can be limited in the canyon, but Wi-Fi is provided.
House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while keeping the property safe and in good condition for the owner.

Smoking:
No Smoking, Vaping, or aerosolized substance of any kind is allowed on the property. If you are caught violating this rule within 50` of the structure a minimum of $250 fine will be charged and the guest will be liable for the total smoke mitigation charges that a professional company charges.

Pets:
This house is not pet-friendly

Quiet Hours:
Please be respectful of the neighborhood and keep noise under a normal conversation in volume after 9pm and before 7am.

General Damages:
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety:
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other:
The space you are booking is for up to 4 people. More than 4 people are allowed with written permission from the host before staying in the home. The property is not setup for comfort and is not recommended.
No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

Consumables:
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

Parties:
If guests are found to have had a party without host permission guests will be responsible for any extra cleaning charges and Guests will be asked to vacate immediately.

Crime and Drugs:
If guests are suspected of breaking laws or storing/selling/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to leave immediately.

Cleaning:
Please hang your towels, take the trash out to the outdoor garbage can, and wash your dishes. We will handle everything else. We handle it however if your party leaves the property in poor condition at the sole discretion of JAckie we may charge additional cleaning fees. This is based on the average condition that a guest leaves the property.

Your cleaning fee covers the cost to disinfect the property between guests, laundry wash/dry/placement, staging the property as it was, cleaning bathrooms, floors, hard surfaces, etc. It does NOT cover anything else such as coloring on walls, damage to the property, damaged linens, furniture, gouges in flooring, broken items, or other extraneous items.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property.
