Longleaf was located close to downtown and to places we could walk to. I liked the décor and bar. Since the hotel is a retro hotel the rooms are a little small but other than that we would stay there again.

This hotel is adorable. The staff was extrememly friendly and helpful. Their lounge served amazing drinks and snacks. It is located downtown so it was a short walk from the venue of the event we were attending. I was worried about the noise level based on other reviews but that was not an issue at all. Very quiet outside and inside the hotel. Key acces to all exterior doors so no safety issues either.

The young woman who attends the front desk went out of her way to make things difficult, to make a point, or to teach us a lesson. She made us feel like we were unwelcome and that merely our presence, was putting her out. Example, our key was turned off well before checkout, but they also stopped answering the phones when ppl needed to check out, I spent so much time trying to get a hold of her, I now needed a late checkout. However, as soon as I finally got back in to my room, she showed up and gave us a good “talking to” for not requesting a late checkout… although, we wouldn’t have, had our key not been turned off and the phones turned off. When we spoke to her about late check out, she said we needed to be out by 1, but immediately went to the front desk, called the room, pretended we never had the conversation, and we MUST return to the front desk. So, although we were trying to pack up and leave, we went to the front desk, and she tried to charge us for a full night… My husband was so upset by how far she went out of her way to make things difficult and uncomfortable, he refused to even walk by the office when we were finally getting picked up to head to the office. This is clearly a case of someone who has created a sense of the staff vs the customer. Post pandemic customer service where the business has chosen to be us vs them. Creating problems where there are none. Lovely hotel and staff… bar is stellar. This person is not cut out for a customer facing role.

Longleaf Hotel is a very charming boutique hotel with an excellent bar and in a great location. Parking is easy and the rooms are simple, but clean, quaint and ample. I was always intrigued by the place when I lived in downtown Raleigh. Now that I’ve moved away, but will regularly visit, I definitely plan to stay at Longleaf again and again!

Though in a rather busy part of the city and just off a busy roadway, the motel has managed to make the site feel cozy and posh through a mixture of plants, architecture and signage—it was a very comfortable night stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the Longleaf. Check-in was quick and desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great - clean and comfortable, with cool "minimalist" decor. Road noise was not a problem. The location is great; it's sort of on the edge of downtown, but is very walkable to museums, restaurants, and some shopping. The area has definitely come a very long way over the years (I grew up in Raleigh).

Stayed here for the “Dreamville 2024” 2-day concert. It was a 30 minute walk to the venue, but had free parking and that was invaluable when 100,000 people came to Raleigh for the concert! Will recommend to others.

部屋に電気ポットが無かったのは残念だが、部屋自体は広くてとても綺麗で満足でした。どこへ行くにもアクセスが悪く、歩いて20分かけて近場のバス停という感じです。そのバスも平気で20分くらい来なかったりしたので、車がないとかなり厳しいです。

A great boutique hotel in Raleigh close to downtown. The lounge is also fun with a cool vibe and great drinks. The staff was friendly and were truly interested in making my stay a good one. Treat yourself to this non-chain hotel at a really good price.

I stayed here to check out the property for fun and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms are basic but very much clean. The lobby bar was amazing and had a very inviting atmosphere. My only gripes are the parking lot can be somewhat tricky to maneuver especially if you’re driving more than a sedan and the water from the sink had a peculiar smell at the start but eventually went away, not a problem with the shower. Overall my stay was great and I’d stay again.
