Bien situé à qq coins de rue du quartier historique et des restaurants, le jour, car en soirée il reste peu d'établissement ouvert. Le personnel est très ouvert et serviable et le site calme malgré la proximité du traffic incessant de Quito. Petit déjeuner simple mais bon.

Good morning Yunyan , thank you for leaving a comment .We have different routers in the hotel which are very helpful to get the internet. Probably you didn’t connect properly , for next guests you can always ask to the receptionist to help you . They will be more that happy to do that .

Thank you for your feedback.The fronts desk is on their vacations . At this time is one receptionist that doesn’t speak English . We apologize for that. Then, we give great options of accommodation for an affordable price. The Old Town is q commercial area , however people usually go to their homes at night , at the Old Town you have also many places where you can go at that time like La Ronda . Palacio Arzobispal or get an Uber an explore other neighbourhoods in Quito.

Es un lugar lindo , las personas son amables , calidas , el tema es que los cuartos no aislan mucho el ruido exterior , si llegan personas tarde y hablan todo se escucha , la cama es entre individual y matrimonial, los colchones ya un poco sin soporte.

Great Time!
This hostal was full of friendly staff that helped us coordinate our rides in and out of Quito. Breakfast was great and our rooms were clean. I would stay again. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and taking in the views of Quito.

No internet No TV
Por el momento no tiene internet ni televisión Hay un daño en la zona del hotel. Fueron muy claros y fue lo primero que me dijeron al llegar. El hotel es una casa antigua con un bonito decorado, buenas habitaciones. Buen desayuno El parqueadero queda a dos cuadras. La zona es muy bonita, con buenos restaurantes y cafés muy cerca. Pero después de las 9 o 10 pm es muy solo para salir a caminar.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Rincon Familiar Hostel Boutique. The property is conveniently located near the historic district in Quito, which made getting around on foot very easy. We really enjoyed walking to the historic district square and having lunch every day. The weather was always so pleasant! The staff was also wonderful and always willing to help out with things like watching/locking up our luggage on our last day, giving us recommendations for things to do in the area, and providing us with fresh towels after we had been in the hostel for a few days. They also helped us locate a COVID testing site the day we were supposed to fly home. Our room was a bit musty and the shower didn't always reliably have hot water but overall I would say the pros greatly outweigh the cons. We would happily stay in this location again!

Rincón offers a beautiful view Panecillo and the statue of the virgin. Lots of plants align the different terraces. Steep Stairs - definitely be cautious. The staff was amazing and helpful. Breakfast is made fresh when you arrive and fresh juice is served every morning. It was my first time staying in a hostel.

El establecimiento muy bonito, su personal muy respetuoso, quizá solo el detalle que no tenian habilitada la cafeteria 24 horas y lastimosamente por las noches ya no se puede circular a pie debido que la zona es peligrosa para que los turistas lo tomen en cuenta.

Dear Guest. As we spoke with Expedia team, we extend credit for one year for you because we understand that during this time is very difficult to visit Ecuador, but we spoke about one year credit. It is not nice that you didn´t come to the hotel and you send a bad feedback about us without staying in the place.

I did not get to stay there because of the corona virus shutdown. My flight was cancelled. Expedia would know this if they would answer their phones and help me figure out what to do. I did contact the hotel to let them know and unlike Expedia, they quickly responded and let me know that they understood.

The breakfast everyday was really good. Fresh prepared individually and the service was great. The guys at the front seat speak English and are very service minded. You can tell they want you to be happy and comfortable with your stay. My room had an excellent view of the angel. If I return to Quito, this is where I’ll stay.

Good budget option
Decent budget option located downtown. Facilities/building a little old. The lock broke when I was there (in the room). But I called the desk and someone came and removed it. Breakfast is alright and relatively-quiet building, which is not too common for area. Service was good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman working at the front desk was bilingual, which was very helpful for me because my Spanish is very basic. The breakfast was delicious and they cleaned the rooms every day. This seemed more like a hotel rather than a hostel to me but that was good because it was quiet.

Great location and value
Very good location for walking the historic center. Close to pedestrian-only walking areas. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooftop terrace. Cheap beverages available. Caveats: If you have any trouble with stairs, insist on not getting a third floor room. And for people not familiar with individually heated shower water, it takes practice. The key is to start a good cold flow for a minute before moving toward hot. Then wait another minute ... and if you then want to reduce from scalding hot, increase flow as you change. If it goes chilly, do the whole process again.

Very helpful staff! They clean all day even when it's already clean. The young men carried my suitcases and escorted me to my cab and spoke with driver before I got in. Now my own sons wouldn't dream of that!

It was right in the middle of the historic centre and easy to get to several tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was very good.

A disgusting odor
There was a disgusting odor all around the room (maybe from the last guest), specially in the blanket and the sofa. The rest was very satisfactory.
