Hôtel avec énormément de potentiel, situation idéale à 15 minutes à pied du Parc Manuel Antonio et directement sur le bord de la plage. L’hôtel devait être très bien lors de sa construction mais manque maintenant d’entretien. La principale justification du prix si élevé selon moi vient donc de la localisation.

Très bon emplacement
Hôtel très agréable. Nous étions dans la partie basse de l’hôtel près de la mer. Il faut consommer pour pouvoir accéder aux sièges et transats de l’hotel sur la plage. Sinon l’hôtel est très agréable Après comparaison, je pense que c’est le meilleur emplacement pour un hôtel à Manuel Antonio, en front de mer mais pas dans l’hystérie de l’entree du parc.

Aucun accessoire dans la chambre 15 (sèche cheveu, tv, coffre fort, prise électrique dans salle de bain). Accès privé et relativement facile à la plage. La participation au happy hour de 1 à 6 permet d'avoir chaises et parasol sur la plage ce qui est bien. Accès à pied au parc.

Bel hotel près de la plage
Très beau site et bien situé. Nous pouvons aller au parc Manuel Antonio à pied. La chambre est grande et propre. Nous avons soupé et déjeuné à tous les jours à l'hôtel et c'était très bon. Les gens sont sympatiques. À la réception , une personne parle en français c'est merveilleux! Merveilleux séjour!

grosse déception
L'hotel était le plus cher de notre séjour mais aussi le plus décevant la qualité n'était pas à la hauteur du prix, nous avons dû payer un gros suplément pour avoir une chambre correcte sinon il falllait monter un nombre incalculable de marches pour accèder à la chambre qui se trouvait de l'autre coté de la rue.

The hotel is in a nice location, beach is very nice and restraurant is right on the beach. Staff were very friendly and serice minded. Hotel room were clean and the beds were great. Very small and in need of a table or two- nowhere to keep your clothes. Paid for beachfront but the hotel is too far away

Right at the beach, walking distance from Manuel Antonio National Park; beautiful gardens where you could spot white-faced monkeys and birds. Reserve a room in the main building for better views and quick access to the beach. Excellent restaurant and service.

The location can not be beat - free parking and an easy walk down the beach to Manuel Antonio National Park. The restaurant sits on the beach, the rooms are clean, and breakfast was free. I'd definitely go back.

Beachfront hotel with restaurant, breakfast buffet included, at reasonable price. Office staff friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms with excellent AC. Delightful beach, plenty of shade trees, which often host sloth and monkeys! Well tended grounds. Close to restaurants, national park, and more.

I almost hate to review this property because I love it so much. The KEY is to reserve a room in the white building on the ocean side of the road. This last time we were in the building above the road, where there's a lot of road noise and the air conditioning didn't work right (there was water literally pooling on the floor). The second night we moved down the hill to the white building and were very happy. The amazing thing about this hotel is it's right on the best part of Espadilla beach and there are lovely gardens and mature trees, so I've seen sloths and monkeys just on the grounds. The restaurant overlooks the beach and they have tables and chairs on the beach. It's an older hotel, so a little worn around the edges, but that's why they have such a prime location. About a 30 min walk down the beach to the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. It's quieter than the crush of hotels that are right by the park. Staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful! Still our first choice for Manuel Antonio.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, es mejor tomar las habitaciones que dan a la playa ya que hay otras cruzando la calle que no son tan convenientes. El personal del beach club es muy amable por lo que terminamos pasando casi todo el día ahí. Es una muy buena opción en la zona ya que pocos hoteles están en primera línea de playa como este.

Not worth it.
Not the greatest experience. Hospitality isn't great and service everywhere is very slow. Took an hour to get some Nachos for dinner and there were hardly any one at the restaurant eating. Check in is easy but our room was at the top of the stairs and luckily we had small bags because it wasn't an issue for us but if you have large bags, good luck! They don't offer any help either. Wifi is terrible and didn't reach our room. We had to work and it was too hot to sit outside and work so don't count on wifi in the room. Good things: Nice beach access and the room we stayed in had an incredible view! I would not come back here for the price. Maybe everything in Costa Rica is expensive, I am not sure as this was our first time, but for the money, was not worth it. Amazing Airbnb down the street next to the park gate that is 3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the front gate entrance. 100% recommend that instead!

El lugar nos encanto, muy cómodo, limpio, con acceso a la playa, podíamos comer disfrutando de la vista a la playa, además de disfrutar de la visita de unos monos cara blanca, alguna iguana, y otros animalitos que podíamos contemplarlos de manera segura. El desayuno fue excelente y el personal todos fueron muy amables, sin duda regresaremos. También disfrutamos de la alberca. Solo los costos del restaurante se me hicieron un poco elevados, pero el sabor era muy rico, no se si el precio elevado era por la zona.

Beautiful outdoors, but rooms are meh
The grounds are lovely and the beach access can’t be beat. Nice outdoor restaurant with the best ceviche and the kindest staff. But our room? Not very clean. No vent fan in the tiny bathroom. A/C barely adequate. Our bed was great, though. We were fine for a few nights but probably won’t stay again.

Fint og spændende sted. Ok service, værelse og mad
Det var et dejligt sted med fantastisk strand og hyggelig restaurant. Lidt anderledes end vanlige hoteller, men på en god måde. Vi nød opholdet. Værelset var udmærket og indeholdt det vi havde brug for. Morgenmaden var god, men nogen gange lidt forsinket og det gjorde at vi ikke nåede ret meget morgenmad de dage, hvor vi skulle tidligt af sted på udflugter og derfor kun havde knap 30 min til morgenmad - og mindre ved forsinkelse. Personalet var venligt og rengøringen fin. Fantastisk var det rige vilde dyreliv som udspillede sig lige uden for værelsesdøren og ved restaurant og strand (sjældne aber - flere arter, dovendyr, vaskebjørn og fugle). Overordnet var det et dejlig ophold og vi kommer gerne igen.

We only had 4 nights here, wish we had planned more. The staff was wonderful our and the whole grounds were beautiful. It was hard to leave. we will definitely return. Highly recommend this resort.

The staff were so kindly and friendly. This is my second time in here, everyone was very nice, the only thing we didn't liked was the internet wasn't working inside the room and i had a roof leak right on my bed, but i had to say it was raining a lot that night. Other than that, everything else was great!

I really loved the beach and that is exactly what you are paying for here -- the proximity. All the staff were truly amazing most especially the folks working at the restaurant (S/o Eric). Quepos is close but requires taxi, Uber worked best for me. Hotel is walking distance from Manuel Antonio Park which is great but the day I was there it was closed (Tuesdays apparently). The hotel is fine and everything was in decent working order. Some insects around at times but what can you do. The monkeys in the trees at breakfast are a hoot. All and all I'd highly recommend it simply because you can walk from your hotel room and within short minutes be on the beach. I had a wonderful time visiting here thanks for the memories

My twenty year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Karahe Beach Hotel. The property is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent. The property is on two sides of the road. We did upgrade to be on the beach side of the property which was more convenient being closer to the pool and restaurant. We even saw a sloth and white faced Monkeys on the property. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Ok aqui va mi review. Voy a ser muy honesta. Este hotel deberia estar divido en dos diferentes hoteles,no deberia ser uno. Cuando reseve mi cuarto no sabia que era practicamente en otro lugar el cuarto en la punta del cerro al rededor de la nada. Obviamente no quise tomar ese cuarto, puesto que yo fui a la playa y no q la punta del cerro a hacer workout subiendo 1000 escalones diarios. Cambie el cuarto y me quisieron cobrar $30 dolares mas por dia y otros $30 que porque mi hijo tenia 16 años y debia pagar por mis dos hijos porque no estaba especificado en expedia . Pero si estaba especificado el cuarto lo rente para 4 personas claramente. Me dio una espina un poco racista, no se si porque soy mexicana, me dijieron que si no estaba de acuerdo cancelara por medio de expedia y obviamente no iba a perder mi dinero. La muchacha era nueva y no sabia que decisión tomar, la verdad overpriced para lo que ofrece el hotel. Yo me enoje bastante, muy mal servicio, pero al final finalmente me cambiaron al cuarto de el ptro edificio en donde esta la alberca y la playa. Ahi si la pasamos muy bien,el cuarto muy bonito, comodo y limpio. El jardin hermoso, con perezosos y monos por el jardin. Y el edificio básicamente a pie de playa. Así que al final si quedamos contentos con el segundo edificio del hotel, como les comento esta muy confuso, creo que deberian ser dos hoteles diferentes , no uno. Al final la pasamos muy bien.

Our arrival started off with issues. They never informed us that our $160 private ride from the airport in San Jose was payable in cash only. They took my credit card info prior to the trip and upon arrival said it was only to secure the reservation and that the driver had to be paid the $160 in cash. It was night already and we did not have an ATM to go to on-site so the driver had to wait for payment until the next day, which was embarrassing. Then we went to our room and found that there is no view of the beach at all even though the room was advertised as beachfront and we paid a premium for that. Their response was that the room faces toward the beach and that beachfront doesn’t mean you will see the beach (you’ve got to be kidding me). Then we found there were no towel racks in the bathroom and that the TV was missing. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without towel racks in the rooms. No place to put wet towels or your face cloths. They finally gave us a TV the following day after a guest checked out of their room. So apparently they rotate TVs from one room to the next. Also, there was no ventilation in the bathroom, which was awful. Every time someone took a shower, the entire bathroom would be soaked with condensation, including the whole bathroom door. The shower door was too short, so the floor got very wet during each shower. The best thing about this hotel was the garden area we faced (instead of the beach). The room was also smaller than advertised.
