Crystal Waters- Suite 3

An incredible setting, with unparalleled views of Lake Whakatipu and The Remarkables, Crystal Waters is a brand new property conveniently located within suburban Queenstown, but away from it all. Our suites contain upscale rustic interiors, wood burners, full kitchens, and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views from every room.

Whether it be a mountain adventure or a romantic getaway, our suites are the perfect spot for treasured memories.

Please note that this is a brand new property and we have four suites available.
The four suites are identical with the same layout, furnishings, and wide floor to ceiling glass to capture the amazing views of Lake Whakatipu and the Remarkables. The suites are aligned along a hillside and the only noticeable difference between the suites is the contour of the hillside below. Each suite is completely private and the other suites cannot be seen from within each individual suite.

Our suites have been designed to maximize the spectacular mountain and lake views. Whether you are cozied around the wood burner, dining over a home cooked meal, or resting in bed, you will be amazed by the unmatched natural beauty.

Elevated Spa Pools
Relax in our stainless, cedar spa pools (hot tubs) and take in the expansive views up and down Lake Whakatipu, capturing views of the Remarkables, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak. Please note: The spa pools are available for use whenever you choose to use them. They do not need to be booked out. We find that they are rarely in use at the same time, so you are likely to have a spa to yourself when desired.

Unwind and cozy up after a busy day exploring in front of the wood burner or login into your account and watch your favorite shows from our fifty inch Smart TV.

Indoor Outdoor Flow
Slide open the floor to ceiling glass doors and dine in the fresh mountain air, while the sun sets over Lake Whakatipu.

Watch the sunrise over the Remarkables while the colors reflect on Lake Whakatipu with your morning coffee in hand from our suspended balconies.

Crystal Waters is conveniently located on the edge of downtown Queenstown.

- 20 minute drive from Queenstown Airport
- 10 min walk to Fernhill dairy, restaurants and Cafe
- 10 minute drive to nearest full supermarket
- 5 minute drive to downtown Queenstown
- 35 minute scenic walk along lake front trail to downtown Queenstown
- 20 minute drive to 5 mile shopping center
- 30 minutes drive to Remarkable Ski Area.
- 30 minutes drive to Coronet Ski Area.

Guests will have access to the entire suite. There are four suites located on the property. While there are shared entrances, there are no shared walls with the neighbouring suites.
Access (parking deck, stairs, pathways) and the two spa pools are shared among the suites.
Each suite is private and neighbouring suites are unseen from within the suites.

Fernhill overlooks Lake Whakatipu and is a 35 minute walk to downtown Queenstown. You can walk along the footpath or follow a trail along the lake and through the bush to town. Within a 10 minute walk, there are local restaurants, takeaway, a cafe and a dairy to supply all your basic needs. There is a nearby playground within a 15 min walk, 10 min bike ride to the Wynyard jump park, and a 2 min walk down the hill in front of our property to the lake edge walking track.

Queenstown has a great busing system. The nearest bus stop is a 15 min walk from our location and busses cycle every 15 mins throughout the day.
Catch an uber, taxi or rent a vehicle. We offer free parking on site.

The property is on a hillside and access to the suite is down 50 steps. While we would like to accommodate everyone, this property is not suitable for those requiring mobility assistance.

While the natural views from the suites are uninterrupted, there is a road between the bottom of the property and Lake Whatakipu and while it is minimal, road noise can be heard from within the suites from time to time.

Guests must use their own logins for streaming services.
Pets are not allowed on the property.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed on the property.
You are welcome to have guests, but no partying is allowed on the premises.
Drones are not allowed on the property out of respect for all guests privacy.
Drones are not allowed to be flown on the premises.
