We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The property was cute and charming, with all the conveniences we needed. The location was perfect for our plans, making our trip easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
We had a great visit with family is this charming home! We had everything we needed! It was very quiet and cozy. Thank you for the Christmas tree! We will be back again!
Ok, this place looked super cute online, but was even better in person. A handful of friends stayed here as a girls-weekend meet up so that we could stay in, hang out, do arts and crafts together and generally catch up. It was the perfect location, the house was so clean and the layout was perfect for just hanging out.
There were plenty of giant soft towels â which you KNOW is never the case in a rental! The rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfy. It's also wonderfully located. We were close to the Quechee Gorge, the cute Antique Mall and equaly distant from downtown shopping in Woodstock.
We've shopped around locations for this weekend trip that we have been making annually for the last 5 years, but we already want to book our girls weekend here for next year and think this will be 'our spot' for future visits to the area!
A great area to stay in! The condo was tidy and in a good location. Beds were comfortable. The access to pool and club was complicated due to it being a holiday weekend (too crowded) so we never went. The decks could have used some sweeping and cleaning off to make them more usable and the kitchen was stocked with seasonings, plates, glasses, silverware and basic cookware--nothing else so bring anything you might need. Construction in the area was a small inconvenience but should be short term.
I loved this place! My family comes to Quechee every year and my goal was to find something right in the town so we can walk around easily. This home was beautiful and just enough space for my family. Iâm just bummed the weather wasnât on our side or we would have used the back deck more. I would love to come back again.
The house was centrally located to Dartmouth and local attractions. Walked to a lovely restaurant. The house was comfortable for blended families. Plenty of room for game nights. The property manager was outstanding. House worked out well.
The description of the house was that it had several decks which is why we chose it. When we arrived there was signs and barriers up on the main deck off the kitchen that forbade usage. We should have been notified of this before we got to the property. It would have changed our decision and we could have made that decision prior to payment.
The second bedroom closet was not finished and the rugs in the upstairs bathroom looked worn and dirty.
When I made the reservation with vrbo it stated full refund up to 4/27/23. Another reason why I chose this property. Quechee stated different terms, final payment 4/2/33. I spoke to them about this and was told that they would check the vrbo listing because it might be different and get back to me. They never got backed to me and charged my account on 4/2/33. I called and got no response from Quechee. Would not deal with separate booking agents again if terms are not honored.
This is a beautiful, spacious house in a quiet location within an easy drive to Woodstock and Dartmouth and within easy walking distance to Simon Pearce. House is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with park and walking trails. Excellent communication from host!
Overall the house was well appointed and comfortable. The location was great. The only real criticisms is the lack of screens in the windows. The house was stuffy when we arrived and only one set of sliders and one small window had screens and could be opened without letting in bugs. Also the exterior spaces needed a bit of improvement.
