Little restaurants and shops nearby for convenient needs and meals. It only took us 20 minutes to get to Forbidden City by subway. The property has two separate apartments, both with full bathrooms. « base-wangfujing was a fantastic "base" for our stay in Beijing. Easy access to the Subway and with lots of restaurants and bars - both traditional and contemporary - within easy walking distance. « The name of this place is actually Base-Gonti Serviced Apartment and it was perfect for our trip. We stayed in their "Executive Studio" and the room has plenty of storage space for our luggages (2 medium/2 carry-on), a comfortable bed, a spacious kitchen and a nice bathroom. The hotel is very clean and safe and I appreciated the free in-room wifi and house slippers. « Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. »
