Problème à la réception qui ne trouvait pas notre réservation et voulait nous faire payer la chambre déjà réglée. Ensuite, chambre sans fenêtre ni aération et les odeurs des toilettes ont accompagné notre nuit. Très décevant d'autant qu'avant notre départ ils ont tout vérifié dans la "cellule" alors que celle-ci etait équipée au minimum d'un lit.

The worth hotel in our all life! We paid 92 $ for a dirty room, without window and even less a balcony. The breakfast was uggly like the swimming pool with yellow water just in font of the dusty parking... Cherry on the cake we had to pay 10 $ more because we lost the keycard.. the first time i have made a negative comment but it couldn't be diffetent... I request you not to stay in this shitty hotel!

Hôtel directement sur la plage, avec grande piscine fraîche et restaurant attenant. Malheureusement le personnel n’est pas bien informé au sujet des excursions, finalement j’ai raté ma chance d’aller à Isla Tortuga, la raison de mon arrêt à Puntarenas. La plage est sale: pleine de détritus, c’est désolant. Outre pour les excursions, le personnel est très gentil et serviable.

Overall our stay went well, but our check-in was a mess. This reservation was prepaid (like dozens of others we’ve made with Expedia). For some reason the front desk agent gave us the hotel’s Expedia receipt he had created which showed the room a total of $63 USD cheaper. We should NEVER have been provided that information. It took some translation to figure out what he was trying to show us. Why, we’ll never know. The pool was great, the included breakfast in the open air sidewalk restaurant was fantastic and the views for sunset from the 4th floor balcony were outstanding.

We rented junior suite with ocean view. Ocean view was the only good thing, this was not a suite, just a regular room with a view branded as a suite. Old, barely working tv and fridge, AC was working but couldn't keep the room cool, very noisy location, with music and karaoke, windows and balcony door with gaps and don't block any noise. There were no toiletries in the room, bathroom door is with glass and huge holes , leaving zero privacy. No blinds - 5:30 am sun will wake you up. Hard to park in very small garage, where people block you car.

This hotel is so outdated and short on amenities. No way would I stay here again. No blanket, short on towels, pillows were overstuffed and so on.

The building, location breakfast and staff were great. We had some issues with the shower as you have to hold the shower head at all times and the check in time is not till 3pm, which was a bit inconvenient.

Bonito hotel, especialmente porque cuenta con un mirador increíble donde se puede tener una buena vista del mar en 180 grados y una vista de los alrededores del pueblo.... buena atención, céntrico ; puede uno movilizarse caminando o en taxi. Mi única recomendación seria para la ducha, que debería ser o tener mejor presión de agua.

The best compliment you can give is an honest comment I found the stuff to be warm and welcoming my only disappointment was the Deco was a little bit dated But found our room to be clean and fresh. By accident I left my phone at the hotel about an hour later I realized that I had lost my phone to be fair I thought I lost the phone somewhere else but my girlfriend contacted the hotel to see if my phone has been found they confirmed that they had the phone. I want put to bed a myth about the breakfast at the hotel, it definitely a good flavor Pinto but the eggs were cold but all around a decent breakfast served with fruits definitely better than average. Honesty and integrity can definitely be found at this hotel I recommend

This old dowager of a hotel has clearly seen better days. The room was nice and clean, the balcony was great. Wifi and air conditioning poor. Breakfast was decent. The staff was very nice, answered all my questions, and very helpful.

Una pensión de mala muerte
1.La habitacion no tienen perchero o donde poner la ropa. Escaso mobiliario: mesita de noche, cama, una silla y estante con televisión pequeña (20 pulgadas) y mala calidad de imagen. La llave es simple y no tiene seguridad en caso de robo. Las paredes sucias y necesitaba un arreglo. El cuarto de baño, uno de los grifos de la ducha, se salia de su soporte, con baja fuerta la salida de agua. El labavo no tiene agua caliente por lo que no te puedes afeitar. La ventana estaba bloqueada, sin ventilacion y orientada sur-este, dando muchas horas de sol. El check-in es a partir de las 3 pm, sin posibilidad de tener la llave antes, pero el check-out, me lo recordaban desde la hora del desayuno, a las 9 am. El resto en consonancia anticuado, viejo, deteriorado y sin limpieza necesaria por el covid-19.

The place was nice enough for the price and location. The room was an "Economy". The hotel's lowest price, and didn't have a window as advertised. The hot water was just a trickle. The only furniture was a chair, open wardrobe, and the bed. There was a small shelf under the TV that acted as a desk. The only way to get a WIFI signal was close to the door. So the chair became a laptop desk. The included 'free' breakfast was tasty, but they served small portions. This place had seen better days, but was pleasant enough. I'm thinking that next time I'll go with a B&B

Very bad hotel, not recommended.
Everything went wrong with this stay, the lack of internet in the room as advertised, a stupid receptionist who was trying to lecture me about reading the small print as he does when he travel 🙄 very small breakfast (kids at school cafeterias get bigger portions!) and the list of ‘don’ts’ they give you to sign when you check in that makes you feel you are checking in into prison! The quality/price rapport is terrible, very expensive for what it is and I will certainly not recommend it to anyone.

When you pay for the most expensive room in a hotel, you at least expect a "welcome" or a "thank you." These people, they acted like they were doing us a favor when in reality there were only 2 rooms occupied in the whole hotel. Everything in the room is in Chinese including the remote controls for the tv. There are no lamps anywhere other than very annoying ceiling lighting. There was no shower curtain. The free breakfast was very good and so were the employees serving it. I think it was way overpriced for what you get, or at least for what I got. Never going back

Ustedes en booking confirmaron la reserva. Al llegar al hotel no existía una reserva y no teníamos ninguna habitación disponible para 3 personas. El oficial a cargo en recepción ofreció muy amablemente ofreció arreglar una habitación de 2 personas para 3 personas pero tomaría un tiempo no previsto porque se encontraba solo en la recepción y debía trasladar una cama. Mi familia y yo nos molestamos por el incidente y decidimos buscar otro sitio con urgencia porque en 30 minutos tenía restricción vehicular. Así que no utilizamos el servicio de Hotel Puntarenas Beach, será en otra ocasión. Me pareció un sitio bonito y aseado en general, lo cual podría satisfacer nuestra estadía familiar. Agradecemos la gentiliza y ofrecimiento del oficial de turno (100 puntos por su labor). Lástima que el sistema de reservación no le acompañó. Saludos,
