« We chose this location primarily for its proximity to Denholme where we were staying for a friends birthday party. In particular , the main features were space for a family of 5 and being pet friendly . The host , Sophie provided all details needed and reassurance, as our first time booking a private house for an overnight stay . The price was reasonable for the accommodation and it did everything we needed . The area is a quiet pleasant suburb with a small convenience store round the corner ....

« This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for...

« Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again. »

« A nice peaceful and comfortable place to stop, easy walking to coffee shops and music club, playground and park. »

« Very clean and incredibly well provisioned room with access to kitchen area (washing machine, fridge, coffee maker, etc). Excellent shower, easy to use air con/heating controls, big TV and really close to both Dean Clough Mills and The Piece Hall. »
