« It was amazing to go and stay there. Once in a lifetime. The showers only had cold water but during the hot days they were perfect. You get very close to the wild life, we even had a tarantula in our room. Definitely worth experiencing »

« We visited Lakshmi during July which is in the middle of the local dry season. It was extremely hot at times but also variable so be prepared for changing weather patterns. Our booking was all inclusive including the initial taxi from Iquitos and subsequent boat ride to the lodge. Our guide, Adderly, was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and took us to a number of different locations around the reserve. « I am a biologist and I loved the experience at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable with quality sheets and towels changed daily. The food is excellent and prepared from local jungle resources. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna of which we saw lots. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off there afterwards.
