Hi Sheahon,Unfortunately, check in time is at 3pm and the night before your stay we were busy so we weren't able to check you in until check in time, early check ins are based on availability and we just didn't have any available, as well as the pool is only for registered guests so you would not be able to use the pool until you check in.

Dear Mr. Kevin, We are so sorry our hotel did not meet your expectations. The weekend you stayed with us we did in fact have a small group in house and unfortunately our property has only 90 rooms and our set up of rooms is sort of weird, but we did keep the group together to avoid as many noise complaints as possible. I noticed you said that breakfast ran out by 8am but on both mornings of your stay you were the first person at breakfast and had actually got first servings of everything and nothing actually ran out without a replacement during all of breakfast hours, we did however run out of chocolate milk and replaced it with another type of chocolate milk. I understand that you also experienced a few other small issues that were never brought to management's attention and had they been we maybe could have tried to resolve them and help you enjoy your stay a little better. Nevertheless we will take all of this feedback and use it to better our experiences for guests in the future. Thank you.

A quick online comparison will bear this out. While some consider our hotel "unremarkable", our staff works very hard to ensure our guests a safe, comfortable, and convenient stay. Our rates are in line with what the other hotels in the area are charging, and naturally all hotel rates are higher in the Spring/Summer within the Northeast. Trying to visualize the front desk staff ignoring guests that are trying to check in is a bit of a stretch, but we're glad you found the beds comfortable.
