« Charming lodge with a fantastic hot tub and log burner. The place is nice and warm and private (I think the bushes have grown since the other reviews!). We did reverse our car up to the top of the drive, this blocked off views to the garden. Short walk into Cartmel, Grange isn’t too far either. »

It's a ground floor cottage fronting onto Morecambe bay and it is super peaceful, the views are amazing as the sea comes in and out, and the bird-watching opps are brilliant. Sparrow hawk swept through the garden, oyster catchers, plovers and others were in the bay. The cottage is lovely at a basic level so don't expect great luxury. That suited us fine.
