« Conveniently located near the ghost town of Terlingua which is much more lively than the name implies. Access to Big Bend NP hiking trails and Rio Grande within 35-45 minutes. Appreciated the ability to cook meals at the house and having a hot shower to rinse the days hiking dust off. The highlight was the dark night skies and the ability to see so many stars and the Milky Way. Will stay again when we visit the area. »

« The house was great however the town didn’t have many restaurant options. I would suggest planning to cook in when you stay unless you’re willing to travel to Marfa or alpine every night for dinner. »

« We really enjoyed our stay. We found the container home very comfortable, clean with everything we needed. We liked the observation deck only thing there is that the light from Alpine took away from our ability to view the stars.in every direction. Its still a good deal. »

« The host was very welcoming and everything was exactly as she said it would be. The Casita is a wonderful place for a great mountain get-away with all the amenities it touts. We made immediate use of the washer and dryer as we had a week's worth of laundry to do. Everything we needed was there, although I did furnish my own laundry detergent, but detergent was already there (the same brand!) »

« Lovely property within walking distance to Cochineal Restaurant and Main Street. Perfect for 3 couples as there are 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. Very up to date and clean. We will stay there again if ever in Marfa! »

« Willow Mountain Retreat did not disappoint from its description online. The property has amazing views from all directions. BBNP is so close to the property, but the propery alone has breathtaking views and places to explore! The stars at night were brilliant in the sky around Willow Mountain! The house was extremely clean, spacious and had the perfect amenities for the area. I think this has been stated in other reviews, but the road to the house is a bit challenging, so an SUV or something...
