If you are a person who privileges the history of the places you visit, we are sure you will love the location of this house, on the Guindais stairs, right in the historic center of the city of Porto, close to the Dom Luís I bridge. most picturesque and genuine corners of Porto, and connects Ribeira to Praça da Batalha.

The house sits on a hillside with open views of the Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia, and is divided into three floors, joined by a spiral staircase.

The entrance is on the ground floor, where there is an entrance hall and two bedrooms, each with air conditioning, an integrated bathroom and closed wardrobes. On the lower floor there is a living room with dining area (with air conditioning), equipped kitchen (oven, extractor fan, microwave, gas stove), guest bathroom, a storage room and a private outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the iconic landscape that characterizes this location. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed and hangers for your clothes (no air conditioning). The house offers all the basic amenities to have a good stay in the historic center of Porto.

Free Wi-Fi is available during your stay, as are bath towels and bed linen.
The house does not have reception, but the Home Me team is available 24/7 via cell phone and email.

Access to the house is only via stairs but the view is worth the effort, believe me!

Keep in mind that the fact that the house is located on a slope and is close to the river, it is natural that you will feel the river breeze more intensely at low tide, as well as occasionally some humidity. Anyway, don't worry as there are air conditioning machines at home.

Nearby there is an outdoor car park (Duque de Loulé) and some paid spaces in the nearby streets.

Please note that your reservation comes with a welcome kit that includes a small amount of shower gel, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee capsules, olive oil, salt (...). The idea of renting a complete accommodation means being autonomous, as if you were at home, so if the aforementioned items are sold out and you want more, it is your responsibility to buy for yourself. Thank you for your understanding.

There is no dishwasher or clothes washing machine.

All check-ins made after midnight are subject to an extra fee of €20 paid in cash and during check-in.

After check-in/during your stay, additional costs may apply if:
- Loss of key;
- Key forgotten inside the apartment;
- Key forgotten inside the apartment, inside the lock.
Depending on the situation, the cost of the locksmith is between 40 / 150 Eur.

In the case of stays longer than 30 nights, a policy of fair use of public services will apply with a limit of €80.
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (Towels and sheets for 2 pax).

There is a zero tolerance policy for smoking inside the property. If this rule is not respected and our team discovers it through the smell of smoke, ash, butts, among others, we fully reserve the right to charge a smoking fee of at least €200.
