You will find a newly decorated apartment with two double bedrooms, one of which is a master suite, a living room with a sofa and dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with all the amenities for your comfort.

The Neighborhood:
Located on Rua JoĂŁo das Regras and close to Praça da RepĂșblica, you'll be in a central area, just steps away from the heart of the city and some of Porto's most popular streets. We suggest walking down Rua do Almada, exploring the famous Galerias de Paris, shopping at Praça Carlos Alberto, strolling along the famous Avenida dos Aliados, Rua de Santa Catarina, Praça da Batalha, visiting the SĂ© Cathedral, enjoying the views at Miradouro da Ponte D. LuĂ­s I, or spending time at Jardim do Morro. In the nearby Bairro da Lapa, you can taste the most famous Porto dish: Francesinha.

The apartment is just a 5-minute walk from Faria Guimarães Metro Station, with access to all metro lines, or an 8-minute walk from the city's main metro station, Trindade. The area around the apartment has cafés, restaurants, local shops, bus stops, and the Porto's military headquarters.

To discover Porto's riverside, we recommend hopping on bus number 500 near SĂŁo Bento train and metro station. This line starts in the city center, passes through the Ribeira district, follows the Douro River's waterfront, goes through Foz, the beaches of Matosinhos, and ends at the Municipal Market of Matosinhos, where you can savor traditional fish dishes, seafood, and regional products from northern Portugal.

Important note: There are ongoing construction works near the apartment, which may cause noise between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control but may affect the experience of our guests. As such, we adhere to a policy of transparency so that our guests' expectations are fully aligned. It is our mission to ensure that Liiiving is easy!

You can request our transfer service whenever needed (price upon request).

Other Things to Note:
To make Porto more attractive, the municipal tourist tax has come into effect.
The €2.00 fee, included in the total cost of your stay, applies to guests over 13 years old. It is charged per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team finds evidence that this rule has been violated (such as the smell of smoke, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), a minimum fee of €200 will be applied for smoking.

If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact our team to check availability. Any unauthorized check-out beyond the designated time will incur a fee of €200 per hour.

If you lose the key, you will be charged a cost (subject to inquiry). If you leave the keys inside the apartment and need our team’s assistance to open the door, a fee of €40 will be charged after 7:00 PM. If the key is left in the door lock (technical intervention needed), the cost will be determined upon inquiry.

For reservations of 28 nights or more, there is a cap on water, electricity, and internet/TV package costs of €190. Any excess amount will be charged to the guest.

The tenant agrees to allow the host’s representative to enter the property whenever requested to carry out inspections, with monthly visits expected for this purpose.

We offer a transfer service to take you directly to the apartment! You just need to request it (price upon inquiry).

You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast delivered to your apartment every morning, upon request (price upon inquiry).

3 days in Oporto

We enjoyed our stay ; the apartment was perfect for three of us. Clean comfortable and central I might add one small recommendation : when arriving late in the evening it would be nice to have a few coffee pods for the next morning . Luckily there is a market close by and the staff informed me soon enough so I could run out and get something. The management was very efficient at all times. 👍👍👍

Overall the apartment was clean and well appoitmented with the exception of a coffee pot ...American style. We were very close to historic area. I do question why listings in VRBO indicate an 11 AM checkout and this apartment was 10.30 AM?

Less Than Perfect Stay

We booked a two-person stay in mid-February 2023. The pictures accurately represented the space, which appeared to be brand new. However, we experienced significant issues with the heating and plumbing that impacted our stay. Despite immediately alerting the management company of the issues and requesting an early checkout and credit for our stay (so that we could find another VRBO), they were unwilling to approve the request, and we had to suffer through our paid five-night stay. Below are the major issues encountered. HEATING: There was no heat in either of the bathrooms, making them uncomfortably cold at all times. The heating units in the living and bedroom spaces only heated a small zone, leaving the rest of the apartment chilly. HOT WATER: We could not take back-to-back showers due to hot water issues. The management company told us we had to wait a couple of hours for the tank to fill up again before taking the second shower, which was unacceptable. Despite two technicians acknowledging the issue, no resolution was offered. PLUMBING Both showers did not drain, leaving us standing in stale, cold water each time we showered. While the management company acknowledged this issue, they were unwilling to resolve it. Overall, our experience was disappointing. I would think twice before staying here due to the significant heating and plumbing issues we encountered - and the lack of resolution by the Management Co - The Liiiving Team.
