une envie de revenir
très bon accueil de la part du propriétaire appartement très agréable, moderne , fonctionnel , il ne manque rien pour passer d'excellentes vacances et visiter Porto, le Douro.. belle vue mer et balcons agréables une location de voiture est recommandée et l'appartement bénéficie d'un garage nous reviendrons

Très bel appartement en bord de mer
Je recommande vivement cet appartement qui est très bien placé à Vila Nova de Gaia. Porto est facilement accessible en bus (arrêt à 50-100 m de l'appartement). La vue depuis l'appartement est superbe (conforme aux photos) et le propriétaire a visiblement tout fait pour assurer un bon isolement sonore (qui est efficace), par le biais de deux portes vitrées à chaque balcon. Le propriétaire est charmant. Par ailleurs, l'appartement est spacieux, lumineux, propre et confortable : nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful, quiet location on the beach
Spacious apartment on the beach with restaurants below, grocery nearby and exercise path along the beach. It is away from Porto attractions but we liked it becacuse we could go to town and then return to the quiet neighborhood. Marcos is a wonderful host and responds.

Great spacious apartment. Great location with sea views.
Very nice and spacious. Beautiful views of the sea. Great position on the promenade with easy access to walks and to cafes and restaurants along the sea front. Easy access to a choice of beaches. We had a hired a car so it was easy to pop into Porto centre and Vila Nova.

We were met by Marcos, and given a tour of the apartment, the view exactly as the photo, the beds were comfortable and emaculately clean! It is a large apartment with plenty of seating for 4 adults, will definately stay there again when next in Nova de Gaia!

Place itself was nice but communication with manager of apartment terrible. Although we order and later even demand invoice with correct value of payment till now we didnt get it. Its almost 1.5 week without any response from him.

Gorgeous unit with fantastic view and everything you need
This property was well taken care of and has a great view and is right across from the beach and a wonderful walking path. It’s well stocked and has everything you need. There is an excellent restaurant right below and coffee shops all along the walking path right across the street. We enjoyed waking up each morning and walking along the boardwalk miles in each direction.

Lovely holiday near Porto
This flat was exactly as described and a really lovely place to stay, clean and with a gorgeous view of the sea and the sunsets. Marcos is a good host too. You can easily catch a bus into Porto from the bus stop opposite the Casa Branca restaurant which Marcos recommended and was well worth a visit, delicious fish meals in particular. We would thoroughly recommend this flat for a holiday near Porto.

Comfy place with great views
Comfortable apto with great view of the ocean and a gorgeous sunset. Although it’s s little distant from Porto attractions it’s far enough of all the noise and crowd as well. Marcos the owner was very kind, helpful and quick to answer. Easy to buy groceries nearby and do a walk or jog at the end of a day. We’ll be back.

Peaceful Lavadores within easy reach of a vibrant and bustling Porto
After I booked this accommodation I wondered on looking again at its location on the map whether I had made an error in choosing an apartment which was not in central Porto. But I need not have worried because when we arrived I realised that I had made the best choice. The apartment was new, spacious and comfortable with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean both from the lounge and even whilst laying in bed watching the amazing sky turn first pink then blue in the early morning sunrise. The block was so quiet, situated in a peaceful and secure environment overlooking the sea. There is a lovely cafe bar below for that glass of Vinho Verdi either on the way out for the evening or on return for a nightcap. We used the local buses to reach Porto and Taxis a couple of times to return when we were tired after much sightseeing. They cost no more than €8 per trip and Uber was particularly good for delivering us home from a restaurant after the arrival of an Atlantic storm one evening. In Porto one of our best finds was the food market called Bom Succeso. Not as big as the Time Out Market in Lisbon but less crowded and we found Portuguese Sparkling wine at only €2 a glass! Another was a lovely little wine bar called “Wee Porto” where we sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a plate of Portuguese cheese and some aged Tawny Port. Marcos met us on arrival and gave us useful information about the apartment facilities, good restaurants and their menus. Altogether a very enjoyable stay. Portugal never fails when it comes to giving an opportunity to meet and speak with friendly locals and to enjoy such wonderful sights and local cuisine.

Spacious, modern, clean apartment with beautiful sea view
We, a family from Holland of 4 with teenagers aged 13 and 15, stayed the last two weeks of July 2018 in this beautiful apartment with fantastic sea views. Very nice minimalistic interior, clean, fully equipped, good wifi, great flatscreen tv, nice comfortable boxspring beds (most beds in Portugal are very very hard) and two very nice bathrooms. The owner is very kind. We had a wonderful time in Vila Nova de Gai and we highly recommend this property !

A fantastic time in Porto and Northern Portugal!
My wife and I stayed at this Porto apartment from May 6 to May 13, 2018. We had a fantastic time exploring Porto and Northern Portugal during the day. Returning to this very beautiful and comfortable apartment every evening to watch the sun set on the Atlantic. Marcos was a very gracious host treating us with the utmost respect and leaving nothing to worry about. Our deepest appreciation to Marcos for a wonderful time. It was our first experience with VRBO and it won't be our last!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit sehr nettem, hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Direkt am Atlantik gelegen mit Meerblick aus Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Die Altstadt von Porto kann mit Bus oder Auto in ca. 15 min erreicht werden. Top- Location für die perfekte Kombination aus Strand- und Stadturlaub.

Apartamento con todas las comodidades, garaje con acceso desde planta baja donde hay dos bicicletas para su uso, bien equipado, amplio, mobiliario moderno y práctico, televisión por satélite de 55´, wifi sin problemas, salón con cristalera enorme que cubre toda la terraza y con vistas a la playa de Lavadores, otra terraza más pequeña pero suficiente compartida entre las dos habitaciones, camas grandes y cómodas, cocina con suficiente ajuar, microondas, horno, frigorífico, placa, lavadora y lavavajillas.Tuvieron el detalle de ofrecernos una cesta de frutas a la llegada, así como orientarnos sobre los alrededores. La impresión general, superior. Muchas gracias por todo Marcos, seguro que volveremos a vernos.

Excelente Apartamento, Situado num prédio Calmo e zona espetacular,optimo para descansar e relaxar.
Foi uma estadia muito boa, O Sr Marcos é uma Pessoa atenta desponivel e preocupada com os seus hóspedes e trata os mesmo como amigos e não como clientes, recomendo o apartamento pela acomodidade, é um apartamento que transmite muita paz e é cheio de Luz... Een prachtig appartement met alles erop en eraan. Schoon en leuk ingericht.
Wij waren 4 t/m 9 okt. 2016 in dit mooie appartement. Alles zag er prachtig uit, we hebben het heerlijk gehad. Beneden het strand en heel veel leuke restaurants. Met tips van Marcos natuurlijk. Heerlijk een fietstocht langs het strand gemaakt. Ook beneden kon je fietsen huren. De 2 fietsen, die bij het appartement hoorde waren niet al te best maar dit hebben wij door gegeven aan Marcos. Hij zorgt ervoor, dat deze worden gemaakt. Vanuit het appartement namen wij een taxi naar Porto, die goedkoper was dan de bus. (MET 4 PERSONEN) Met het heerlijke weer erbij hebben wij een topvakantie gehad. Wij komen graag terug. Marcos bedankt. Fam. Kooij en Fam. Brand.

One perfect apartament!!
One perfect holiday, one perfect apartment. This apartment is perfect situated directly to the most important beaches and very close to the city. Is very, very clean, exactly as in the photos and has all you need, also if you want to make a ride with the bikes he holds two. Ms. Marcos is very friendly and he helpful you with all you need. After many searches and after our holiday (7 nights) we realized that is perfect location. You can easily reach the beaches, supermarkets, bars, the bus station for the city is near the building. From the apartment you can walk for 30-40 minutes to the old town and to the most important vineyards. In our opinion after visiting many city’s Porto is probably the most beautiful city in Europe. Beautiful, comfortable aparment with outstanding sea views.
The apartment is very conveniently positioned on the sea front with lovely views of the ocean. There are some lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is a two minute walk across the road. Porto is within easy reach by bus and we managed very well using the regular bus service. Taxis are plentiful and good value for money and we were delighted at not having to hire a car. Marcos was incredibly helpful and a man of his word. He is the most easy person to deal with and it would be great if all property managers were as reliable as he! The apartment is well appointed and we found the beds really comfortable. It was great to have the use of deck chairs and a beach umbrella. Thank you Marcos for making our stay so memorable and we very much hope to return.
