3rd level bedroom features a comfortable King size bed, with high quality mattress and linens for a quality nights sleep. There is a desk, a closet for guests personal items and plenty of space to spread out. There is also a half bathroom with a sink and toilet. The middle or 2nd level bedroom is set up with a Queen size bed, comfortable mattress and linens for a good nights sleep. This bedroom is set up like a loft with privacy but somewhat open to below and other guests will need to utilize the full bathroom so there is some lack of privacy. There is a desk, a closet for guests personal items and plenty of space to spread out.
The full bathroom is modern, clean and updated with a tile walk in shower and new fixtures! Bathroom amenities include quality linens, shampoo and conditioner, and hairdryer. Bathroom is located on the 2nd level by the bedroom and there is a Washer & Dryer in the hallway.
*NOTE: this is the only full bath on the property so guests will need to walk through the 2nd level bedroom to access bathroom and will also need to utilize the open stairway to access the 3rd level bedroom.
The main living area has a comfortable couch that pulls out to a sofa sleeper. There is a flat screen TV for catching up on your favorite Netflix series or for lounging and reading a book. There are tons of windows throughout the space that bring in tons of sunlight and sliding doors to the private patio create a bright and open feel.
Enjoy eating in, with your full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cookware and utensils. and kitchen opens to living area. There is a folding table and chairs that opens and can seat up to (6) guests.

The Neighborhood: Buckman is a neighborhood in the Southeast section of Portland, Oregon. The neighborhood is bounded by the Willamette River on the west, E Burnside St. on the north, SE 28th Ave. on the east, and SE Hawthorne Blvd. on the south. The Buckman neighborhood is in a great location as it is in close proximity to some of Portland’s most hip and popular neighborhoods such as Kerns, Laurelhurst, and Belmont. Residents have plenty of independent retail, coffee, pub, and dining options just a stone’s throw away in most cases across several adjoining neighborhoods.
Buckman’s Hawthorne District is one of the most unique, and most popular areas in Southeast Portland. The area is known for its wonderfully restored Old Portland homes, liberal residents, and fun and funky feel. The street is lined with unique restaurants and shops and has a definite Portland-local flair. Local area standouts are Slow Bar, Rontoms, My Father’s Place, and the Lucky Labrador Brew Pub.
Compared to most other areas of Portland, there is so much to eat and drink in Buckman that you can spend every day trying a new place and it will take you over a year to get to them all. Buckman is a foodie’s paradise, but it’s also home to a wide array of local microbreweries. In case you weren’t aware, Portland has more microbreweries per capita than any other city in the world, and it seems that almost all of them call Buckman home.
Getting Around: To have an authentic Portland experience, there is no need to leave the neighborhood. Shopping, dining and entertainment are abundant. This is very urban area convenient for walking, biking or using public transportation. Portland also has a wonderful Bike Share BIKETOWN located all over Portland Metro. You could get around efficiently with an UBER. Public Transportation is close by with a bus stop only a few minute walk from the house. You can use the buses and the MAX light rail to get anywhere in Portland Metro. Great Coffee, dining and a grocery store blocks from the property.
Other Things to Note: This property is a long term furnished rental and is available for stays 30 nights or longer. We require a separate rental agreement to be in compliance with Oregon Tenant Law. Please provide an email address so that we can collect the required information and rental agreements prior to your arrival. We cannot honor the reservation without this supplemental agreement. ~ This is a private 2 Bedroom unit in a townhouse ~Up to 2 preapproved dogs accepted with an additonal $50 cleaning fee and an additional $250.00 refundable security deposit. ~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10 pm. ~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal. ~ Housekeeping is required and provided every month for an additional charge of $70 per cleaning on all stays over 15 nights
Pet Policy: We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house trained dog into our home! -We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. -There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, cleaning fee and an additional $250.00 refundable pet security deposit, which we will request the additional pet fee via an alteration request after the booking is confirmed. Please also be aware of our pet policy: -Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have kennels available on request for an additional fee. -Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately. -Pets are NOT allowed on furnishings or linens. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in additional cleaning fees to guest. -Pet cleaning fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. Pet cleaning fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable wear & tear
Interaction with Guests: I do not live on site but I am local and can be available via text, phone or messaging. I can also be available at property quickly if needed.
