From the hot tub and outdoor seating with fire pit, to the unfinished basement game room with pool table, air hockey, and lounging area with TV, there is no shortage of fun to be had here! Just one block from the many bars and restaurants of NE Broadway and a 10 minute ride to Downtown Portland and Mississippi, this centrally-located house is the perfect home base for checking out everything Portland has to offer!

This cozy, fun home is perfect for families, co-workers and world travelers alike! With its two separate living areas, game room, hot tub and fire pit, four beds in assorted sizes, two full-sized bathrooms and convenient location to just about anywhere in Portland, this house is perfectly equipped for all types of travelers.

Important: Please note that to be a legal rental and to help with Portland’s housing crisis this home has a separate apartment upstairs with a long-term tenant. This applies to most legal Portland short term listings. The tenant has their own private entrance and does not have access to any guest spaces, including the yard and hot tub. Please make note of this before booking.

The Neighborhood:
Sullivan's Gulch is located in Northeast Portland. It is bordered by the Lloyd, Kerns, Hollywood, Grant Park, Laurelhurst, and Irvington neighborhoods. Sullivan's Gulch is conveniently located on bus lines, and within a short distance to the MAX light rail station at Lloyd Center.

--IMPORTANT: Please note that for all bookings on platforms other than Airbnb, a deposit of up to $1000 is required (please inquire for the exact amount). This deposit is to cover any potential damages to the home or property. Deposits will be refunded the day following check-out, minus the cost of any damages. Guests will be notified of any damages, and documentation for any deductions will be provided. This will be processed as a separate payment, but you can choose to use the same payment method or a different one. If you choose a different payment method, please provide the necessary payment details.

--IMPORTANT: Smoking of any kind indoors is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine and additional action up to eviction.

The location was excellent, neighborhood felt comfortable and safe. Nice to be close to a supermarket. House had everything we needed and in very good repair. We wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. The game room is a great addition. The pool table was fun. The house was perfect for our family of 4 who visit Portland every year and we hope to stay here again. The homey environment is very accessible for people who are tall in stature. The cupboards, shelves for dishes, hooks in the bathroom, rods for hanging clothes in the master bathroom were were all set very high. For us, it was all fine though a shorter person might have accessibility challenges. You may consider providing a simple sturdy step stool assist is accessing all of the amenities that you have thoughtfully provided.

Had a great stay here, way better than booking a hotel. The place was clean and the amenities were fantastic. Between the hot tub and the game room downstairs, there were plenty of ways to relax between our trips into downtown Portland which was also a very quick drive. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located, being only a short walk from the nearby Fred Meyer's. Great kitchen if you like to cook as well! The host was communicative and the check-in process was a breeze. I would happily stay here again next time I'm in town.
