Wow our stay was absolutely perfect the accommodation was perfect the staff were so helpful and friendly, they went out of their way for us, even prepared a couple of lunch packs for us to enjoy as we couldn’t stay for breakfast, definitely booking at Tranquilles bed and breakfast next time I’m in the area.

A lovely setting and the room was very clean & well appointed. It was very quiet and the full breakfast was a lovely bonus. Got to meet & chat to the other guests. Martin was a very attentive host who met all our needs.

Wish we stayed longer
We had a fantastic stay here on the night before the spirit of Tasmania. We received an amazing cooked breakfast at 6.30am before leaving for the boat. Only a 15 minute drive to Devonport and Latrobe. We had the room with the spa bath which was so relaxing!

This little hotel is such a find! Gorgeous location and building, the owners/staff were absolutely lovely - friendly, knowledgeable about the area and nothing was too much trouble. The included breakfast was delicious with great choices, far nicer than your standard hotel breakfast and cooked fresh to order. The rooms were fairly small but comfortable and had everything you could need. Beds were super comfy! Highly recommend this gorgeous place for a getaway :)

Very nice stay for one night. Very informative hosts giving us lots of ideas for our trip the following day. Very comfy bed, good shower and an amazing breakfast.

Fantastic Place
My wife and I stayed for one night as we had a dinner just up the road. Lovely Place to stay. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time the next morning. Probably the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. Could not fault it. Will definitely be back!

Right from check in through to final morning we were there, Bev and Martin made us feel welcome and nothing was a hassle. Good Food great people, definitely would recommend a stay with them.

Beautiful place to stay! I personally loved the seperate toilet, Not many places have a seperate toilet and bathroom.The home cooked breakfast was delicious and the homemade bacon, sausages, jams and sauces were amazing, thanks Mark! I loved the fitted sheet, B&bs and motels usually have flat sheets, because I always untuck the sheets and blankets theyre not as comfortable. It's the little touches that make a difference

Classy B&B in a great Location
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Tranquilles. Very comfortable room, delicious breakfast and friendly hosts. Great location only a short drive from Devonport close to stunning beaches and walking tracks.

From the first moment we were made to feel welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely linen, toiltries and delicious breakfast all added to the feeling of being pampered. Well positioned for beaches and sightseeing. Peaceful gardens made it an oasis of delight. Looking forward to returning.

Exceptional....and breakfast included!
Not only amazingly clean, comfortable and welcoming, but a delicious hot breakfast is included in the price! The lounge, books, complimentary port, chocolates, and so many other personal touches make it one of the best places we have ever stayed. Highly recommend to others and we will be back.

Our third stay at Tranquilles and we will definitely return again when visiting family in Shearwater, it is always comfortable, clean and the included full breakfast cooked to order is always delicious. Guests have a seperate entrance with loads of parking space and seperate indoor and outdoor areas available to relax other than your bedroom. The owners Gary and Margaret are friendly and helpful.

Lovely hosts Gary and Margaret. Nice house on a big block of land. Nice room with plenty of space and nice big bathroom with walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Would stay there again.
