« The house was very comfortable. No extras....one roll of toilet paper, on roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent, no beach towels, no beach chairs. Was a little surprised by that.The master bed was the only comfortable one. Not the best layout for family with one of the rooms being downstairs under the house.The house was clean and great location!! »

« Great location! Just a few steps from the beach and the pool was great for days when the beach wasn't ideal. (Rip tide warnings and windy this particular week) We enjoyed the shops and restaurants and this area did not have all the spring break rowdy crowds....perfect for families. Our host, Laura, was a real sweetheart, taking a few minutes out of her busy day to just sit and talk with me. ( I was here on a Respite visit as a caregiver) »

« My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. I would suggest getting the ignitor fixed on the gas grill though. My husband had to use a lighter to get it lit. »

« My husband and I spent a week at the blue whale for spring break. What a fabulous time we had! The location couldn’t be better and most days it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Anytime we had a question or concern John was immediately on it and was so helpful. We cant wait to go back! »

« The condo is so tastefully done, beautiful kitchen and so comfortable to be in! The owners are warm and friendly to communicate with. The warmth transfers to this little abode as well. We had a great time! »

« The views are beautiful. The house was lacking a few things, like an icemaker and storage space for staples you would bring when staying at a home with a kitchen. Many of the lighting fixtures had burnt out bulbs. The TV was difficult to navigate and had no local channels. The dock is in desperate need of repair. With a little TLC this house would be perfect. The rental company did an excellent job at communication. »

« We have been coming to SGI for 30+ years but didn’t think we’d be able to come this year. We found out we could come a month before our stay. I reached out to the host to see if they’d allow our large dog and she responded affirmatively. Pictures showed a fenced yard with a nice tiled cool patio under the house. The house was very clean, decorated tastefully and well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed and neatly stored. Beds were comfortable-we only stayed in one room since we were just...

« This peaceful quiet space is within walking distance to the tap room and owls head restaurant. Shopping is nearby and hosts are available for any questions or needs. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. »

« 2 issues arose. 1) we could not get into the property as the wrong key was left in the box . We finally got the manager to get us where the back up key was took additional45 minutes 2) the internet was almost non existent. We could not watch any tv programs or movies. Laptopsandand iPads »

« This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all. »

« The property was as described on VRBO. The host responded quickly to a small maintenance matter. The house was clean and well appointed with extras such as garbage bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, Kleenex and chocolate! The linens and towels were good quality. We enjoyed our 2 week stay very much. »
