Key Ts & Cs (but not limited to) are listed below.
1. Smoking (or vaping) is not allowed in the house. Smoking is allowed outside only; please, no butts on the ground. A minimum $2,000 cleaning fee will be reported if evidence of smoking is found in the home.
2. People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property without prior notice. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. The host has not represented this unit as an event facility, therefore, there is a limit to the number of any visitors at any one time (in addition to registered occupants) of four (4) up to a maximum of 6 persons in the property at any given time. At no time may any of these visitors remain overnight or assume any guest privileges whatsoever.
3. The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
4. Guest is responsible for all child proofing. Any child amenities (pack & plays, high chairs, etc.) shall be completely and fully inspected for satisfactory working order by Guest prior to use. Hosts do not inspect child amenities between stays, and any injuries resulting from their use are 100% guest-related.
5. There is no daily housekeeping service. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rate.
6. Tampering with / disabling the decibel meter and refusing to reinstall it is grounds for immediate cancellation.
7. While our home is pet friendly, excessive shedding, mud, damage, etc. may require an additional charge. The pet fee is $49 per stay.
8. We are very flexible hosts, and do not ask or expect our guests to clean prior to check out. However, we also don't expect our guests to leave a mess; cleaning that requires substantially more time than usual due to garbage, stains, spills, etc., will be charged to the Guest at $40 per hour.
8. Guest understands that they are staying in a neighborhood. We expect Guests to respect our neighborhood and our neighbors' right to peaceful enjoyment of their homes. If Hosts receive a valid complaint from a neighbor, Guest will be notified. Failure to rectify the issue may result in cancellation of the stay.

Property as described in listing, great location for proximity to downtown. We thought the property was clean inside and I never didn't feel safe when walking our dogs.
Pro's - Your own space with washer/dryer, full kitchen, basically a single bedroom apartment that worked well for us when we were there. Owner responded to any question within minutes, which was much appreciated. We were able to have our small dogs with us (front yard had a small patch of grass in the front). It was charming and the host did a great job thinking about night lights, USB chargers on both sides of the bed, and all the other little touches.
Con's - Bathroom was beyond tiny, but served its purpose. Parking was definitely an issue, and traffic was atrocious into the parking garage for the hospital (entrance is almost right in front of the unit). There is a parking garage across the street, but had a 6' 7" clearance (our vehicle couldn't make it under the clearance). I mention this, it was almost a deal breaker for us on the first night, we had to actually park a couple blocks away until the bar/festival crowd cleared. I'm glad we stuck it out. Friday and Saturday night was the worse for parking until people returned and left after the bar hours. However, Pittsburgh has parking deficit throughout the city, this is common. If you have mobility issues, it could be a problem.

A small urban landing pad in a safe neighborhood, convenient to everything. Some neighborhood restaurants just a short walk up the street. Pet friendly -- with a place to poop right outside the door (no fenced yard but that was OK with us). The listing is photographed well with a wide-angle lens, which is totally normal on this site, but be aware this is an older building with some tight angles. Spouse objected to shoulders touching the wall/shower curtain while on the toilet, but that's the shape of the bathroom! Overall it worked well for us.

After a terrible experience with an apartment and host on a different site, I was just looking for a clean place to sleep that was close to the office. It qas so nice to have a host to reach out to ensure that I made it safely and put forth the effort for me to check in early. When I mentioned a potential issue, my host was ready and willing to come out an address it immediately! I would stay at this apartment and use this host again. It was a great five days.

This property was everything we needed. Great location. Easy walk to the Pirates game and a great selection of restaurants nearby. We had a quick breakfast each day at the rental because of the well stocked kitchen. The coffee provided was a nice feature. Chad was quick to respond when I reached out when my phone's email went kafooey for some reason and couldn't receive the codes to get in. I appreciated that. Very comfortable place and felt safe for this small town family! Love the city. "Yinz " all should experience it for your next getaway!
