Welcome to the Heart of Pittsburg! Come experience all "The Great North Woods" has to offer at Deer Run Lodge. Whether its a quiet campfire in the back yard, taking a hike to view autumns blazing colors or riding Snowmobiles & ATV's you are going to love visiting this four season year around resort area. Pittsburg has been a tourist favorite for many generations and Deer Run Lodge is at the heart of it all.

* We are family friendly! You will find amenities many child-friendly amenities including, a high chair, pop-up bathtub, child plates, cups, and silverware. A pack-n-play with a sheet, and a large plastic gate to place around the gas stove/ hearth. Sleds and games are also available for use. We are here to help make your stay enjoyable!

Deer Run Lodge provides easy access to the hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails, and the vast ATV trail system. Bring your own sleds & ATV's with plenty of parking for your trucks, cars, and trailers, or rent from Bear Rock Adventures right down the road! The level gravel driveway makes for easy access, with ample parking space.

Our own family loves taking laps around the open level yard, sledding down the hill from the front of the home, and taking in all the wildlife from the wrap-around porch. You can enjoy hours of entertainment right on the 2+ acre private lot!

This gorgeous log home with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room on the main floor, is perfect for gathering with friends and family. You will love the large full bathroom with a tile shower and oversized marble vanity on the main floor. On the second level, you will find two large bedrooms one featuring a king-size bed and twin trundle and the other with a queen & twin. The lower-level game room is where all the fun happens! With a foosball table, flat screen TV & plenty of games for hours of entertainment. The two bunk beds with queens on the bottom and twins on the top, are great for additional sleeping space. Cozy up by one of the gas fireplaces and relax for the evening or enjoy a moment of tranquility rocking on the wrap-around porch.

Deer Run Lodge is centrally located with easy access to Young's Store, Back Lake, Green Acres Country Store, and Bear Rock Adventures.

What a great place to stay, the house was very clean and comfortable. Close to stores and restaurants but why eat out when you have a great kitchen and view! The snow held out for the trip and ended outside by the firepit, which was wonderful!

We stayed for a short two getaway for my husbands 40th birthday. We rented an ATV for the day,and had dinner. We enjoyed the nature, the quiet, and the animals that we saw just in our short visit. Great weekend!!
