« I am willing to pay extra for this place because it is walk in to the gondola. Except when the gondola doesn't run which seems to be about 50% of the time in my experience over the years. No biggy, in that case we have an alternative: drive to the CA main lodge ... except surprise surprise starting this year you need to reserve parking ... and of course 'on the day of' there is no more parking available ... so Heavenly says take the free shuttle bus ! Except when the gondola is closed there is...

« We had a wonderful family trip here with our 4 kids (ages 11-17). Close to grocery stores, the lake, hiking, the resort--it really is a good location. This place had everything we needed! We enjoyed playing some of the games in the closet, and the kitchen was very well stocked, loved that for cooking some meals. The showers have great water pressure, and the stone decoration is cool. I definitely recommend this welcoming abode! »
