If I had to guess, the photos were taken right after renovations were complete and several parties have been had since then. « This home was beyond filthy with stained sheets, stained shower, maggots , mildew and mold. The smell inside could possibly be interior mold. We didnt even stay after seeing it upon check in. The owner refused to refund our money and stopped responding to my messages and claimed he was working with VRBO but has kept ALL of our funds. « This place served its purpose for us during our stay in alexandria. It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do.However,The layout of the apartment is rather odd. The bathroom is in the kitchen. And despite 3 large "no smoking" signs, the interior smelled strongly of cigarettes. 1 star for the colony of cats outside. »
