« Blocked here for two nights due to cancelled flight. So I worked, trained ate and slept. Fast WiFi. Good for working. Good gym for being a hotel gym. 20 min on the step machine and then some free weights. The breakfast is a real breakfast served with real plates. (No paper or plastics) The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. You get what you pay for! »

« Weather was VERY cold during our stay! But the gas log heater inside the dome greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable inside. We cooked our meals outside on the blacktop grill and ate on the deck admiring the creek and woods surrounding us. With below freezing highs and lows in the low teens, for a last minute get out of the city dose of nature it was a lazy relaxing trip, but would love to experience again in slightly warmer temps. « The house is in a beautiful serene setting. It is such a peaceful place tucked away in the woods with the amazing mountain views we were looking for. It is located close to Blowing Rock and Boone. The host is very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and I loved the heated light bulbs and hot water. I would definitely come back! It snowed one day too! Thank you! »
