« Firstly the pictures used for the advert are very much out of date. I have been in touch with the owner to let him know our concerns. The house is in a great area for the centre of Pickering and a few shops within a few minutes walk so ideal. Firstly we struggled to get into the property as the lock was a bit temperamental. « Stayed here for my sons birthday to go to flamingo land. Property was very clean and well equipped, a home from home. Location was phenomenal, 10 mins from flamingo land and pickering Castle at 5 mins away. Some shops and take aways a small walk. Parking a bit hit and miss but managed to park both nights. Lovely decor and beds were comfortable. Couldn't recommend enough. Welcome basket was a very nice touch 10 out of 10 »

« The cottage was perfect for our family break. Well equipped and cosy. We loved making a fire in the evening and playing board games. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and found some great restaurants. We were lucky with the weather so made the post of it with visits to Whitby, Scarborough, Dalby Woods, the Moors and of course Pickering village. Great family break. Highly recommend. « Beautiful cottage - ideally situated for exploring North Yorkshire. Like a home from home with everything you need to cater for yourself, although the town has several nice restaurants to choose from. Hosts are on site if you need them although we had no problems. The cottage we stayed in (Bransdale) had a lovely private garden for us to sit in with a little blackbird family coming in and out. Just perfect. »
