Cute little house so close to the best street in Gilbert. Walking distance to tons of restaurants. House has been recently updated. Communicative host. Fab spot!
Quick Get Away to Az for a wedding and for some Sun.
I recently stayed at the Palm Bungalow in Gilbert, AZ, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! This charming property is perfectly located near a variety of fantastic restaurants, making it easy to explore the local dining scene. The bungalow itself is cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. Although we encountered a minor issue with a clogged kitchen sink during our stay, I was incredibly impressed with how quickly our host, Luis, responded to our concerns. His promptness and willingness to assist made all the difference, turning a small inconvenience into a minor blip in an otherwise wonderful trip.Luis's hospitality truly shines through, and his attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the bungalow. If you're looking for a welcoming place to stay in Gilbert with easy access to great food and a responsive host, I highly recommend the Palm Bungalow. I can't wait to return!
We loved the location! It was an easy walk to all of the restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the lights in the backyard and the table to sit at on the porch. The only cons were that there was a smell in the house (May bother those with cat allergies) and the propane for the firepit is not provided. Otherwise perfect!
Spent a week in Arizona for a work trip. Decided to skip the hotel route and try a Vrbo. Glad I did! Great little bungalow within walking distance to downtown Gilbert.
This bungalow is centrally located very close to downtown Gilbert. That was nice. The style of the home was very cute. There were lights not working in both bedrooms. We replaced the batteries. Bedrooms could use a dresser to be more accommodating. Blinds were broken and trashy. Those really should be replaced.
The property was in a great location. The check in process was easy. We had the things we needed for our extended stay. We would walk to the downtown area every morning and hit the shops. If you plan on using the grill or fire pit you have to provide your own propane. Make sure to take a look before you start grilling⊠a lot of the fixtures were unfinished, or didn't have batteries. Didnât bother me so much, couldnât have just been some oversight, who knows. Aside from the nuances, it was a nice stay.
We arrived and the place was very clean. It has everything you will need at the house. Coffee around the outdoor fireplace in the morning was wonderful. The locating is so close to downtown Gilbert and the nightlife is great. It was just my wife and I so it was very nice to get away for a few days. This place has alot of little extras that other places don't have. I would stay here again if i come back to Gilbert.
The bungalow as other comment stated is cute but there were a number of issues.
The first and biggest discrepancy was the listing listed 2 Queen size beds. In reality both beds were doubles. The tags were still on the mattresses with the size listed as 75inx54in. So that was disappointing.
The refinished wood flooring looked great, but it was so slick it was a fall hazard.
Of the four sconces beside the beds only one worked and it was so dim even at 100% it was useless.
Finally, the bathroom remodel looked nice but the sink on the vanity took up so much space there was barely room to put out your toothbrush.
On the positive side the location is very convenient to the downtown Gilbert restaurants and Farmers Market.
Stayed here while got my college daughter settled in her new apartment near the U of A Gilbert campus. Walking distance (in cooler weather) to downtown Gilbert. Cute little bungalow. Very clean and quaint. Too busy to make use of kitchen, but it looked nice. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive.
We had an amazing time at this property and it definitely was exactly what we needed for our time in Gilbert! Itâs cute and stylish, the beds were comfy, and the host is amazing as well. We hope to return whenever we have to stay in the valley in the future.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights and we LOVED it. Great location!! Right by downtown Gilbert, you can easily walk downtown for a night of fun. It's a cute house with everything you need. Fun backyard too. I most certainly would stay there again. Also, Luis is a great and very communicative host.
