Georgetown Lake is only a 15 minute drive and offers wonderful summer boating experiences, and ice fishing in the winter! Another short drive will take you to the famous Rock Creek where you'll find world class fly fishing experiences and the opportunity to see lots of Montana wildlife including bears, mountain goats, moose, deer, and elk. WINTER RESERVATIONS: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended due to heavy snow and ice conditions, although the roads to the cabin are regularly plowed.

Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. WINTER MONTHS: It is required that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months and snow tires or chains are also highly recommended. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed, but Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow at any given moment. We want you to be able to come and go as you please despite the weather.
