The place was so dirty and stinky. It was the worst place ever and VRBO told us to take a picture of the smell?! Air conditioner didnât work, 82 inside the house. It was horrible and we had to fight to get our money back! Text the host to tell them how horrible the place looked and sent pictures. They blocked us, so they couldnât receive any more pictures of complaints. We had to go to a hotel, before they would give us our money back. VRBO, was so unreasonable about this even though we sent them pictures they wanted to give the host five hours to fix it, that wouldâve been by 11 PM. We refuse to stay in that nasty place with stains on the sheets and walls. VRBO, was not customer oriented, understanding and took the whole side however, eventually we got our money back because the host wouldnât even reach back out to VRBO!!!
The house was similar to as described. Unfortunately we didnât have any WiFi and there were nearly no kitchen supplies. Other then that the house was clean and large.

Buyer beware: neighborhood is not accurately represented
We never checked in. When we arrived, we realized quickly that the surrounding neighborhood had not been accurately represented in this listing. It was very sketchy, with several adjacent properties appearing to be unoccupied. The instructions indicated that we could "park for free" on the street. The owner did not specify that the property is on a very busy street, and the cross street from which one would presumably access the building is one way, accessed from somewhere else within the neighborhood. We could see from the car that the main entrance, accessed by key code, was standing wide open. Next to the main door was an overflowing pile of garbage. It's a major urban center; there are bound to be rodents, but you don't have to create safe spaces for them. Questionable characters were roaming the street, and possibly the building, since the main entrance was unsecured. We circled the block 6 times in an attempt to find the access point to the side street. With luggage in our car, we were reluctant to park too far away to walk to check out the building, and didn't want to haul luggage from a distance. We felt that the building was unsafe. This owner requires a 59 security payment on top of the rental fee, which seems absurd given the lack of security to the building! The listing mentions proximity to the zoo and art museum but conveniently leaves out the overall neglect of the neighborhood. Even if you know West Philly, this description is misleading. Zero stars.
