I liked that it was more like an apartment than a hotel room. It was a well-kept old building, very quaint. The employees were extremely nice! It’s on a very loud street. The pre-check-in was unusual - a background check requesting photos of a driver’s license and a selfie as part of a background check seemed too much. I did not want to provide a photo of my ID and a selfie online. Overall, a very nice place and I enjoyed my stay

I loved learning the history of the property and the upgrades giving it the comfort one desires in a hotel room. As a business traveler, I truly appreciated the ability to make my room/apartment my home base for the multiple days that I was in Philadelphia.

The property was very nice. My hotel room looked like a one bed room apartment. Very spacious. Washer and dryer inside room. The only thing I didn’t like was that I never received a code to enter building, other than that I will definitely be returning.

I rarely write reviews. But I have to do it this time because some of its staff were too rude and mean. When I checked out at 11 am, I asked the lady at the reception whether I could stay in the lobby for two hours to wait for my friend and have a meeting. She said OK so I just sit on the couch. However, when I started the zoom meeting and speaker for around 1min (maybe less). They deliberately turned up the speaker and made the volume of music larger. I cannot leave the meeting immediately because it was my presentation. So I squeezed in a corner to reduce the background music (noise). What's even worse, after seeing I was still there, they even sent a janitor to vacuum around me. When I spoke, she started vacuuming. When I stopped speaking, she stopped vacuuming. So I had to end my meeting earlier and could not finish my presentation. If you didn't welcome your former guests to stay in the lobby after checking out, please say it directly and frankly. I could find another place when I still have some time after check-out.

I came to Philadelphia for a conference. This was my first visit to Philadelphia. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. There is a supermarket just next door. But the selections were limited. The apartment was spacious and clean. There was high speed internet. The hotel staff was friendly. However, when I requested a shade or curtain in the living room, the staff could not provide anything. There was no privacy in the living room. There was no view from the apartment, except looking at the living room of another apartment. When I called for Uber and Lyft, the drivers missed the location a few times. I will not go back to this hotel.

The property and our room was surprisingly very cute. Although we just needed a place to crash, it had all the bare essentials needed for apartment living. The only issue is I selected a king size bed on Expedia, but at the Mint, only the 2 bedrooms had the King. We made it work.

The Mint was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and smelled good. Plenty of space. Modern decor and nice city view. Only complaint is parking is very limited. The garage we were told we could park in at a discounted rate (Giant) was far away. There's an Aldi's parking garage right on the side but we didn't see that until after we found street parking. Called but was unable to get someone at the actual front desk, it was a call center that took a long time to finally get someone on the phone. Overall lovely stay...the hotel is beautiful and reasonably priced for what you get. I would stay again and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, bad parking situation
The parking situation was absolutely unprofessional. They tell you to use the giant parking garage but when we got there at night it was closed. We parked illegally until we could run in quickly and tell the person at the front desk who was shocked to hear the garage closed. There was no street parking available and every single place we looked around within walking distance to the hotel was unavailable or the gates were closed. We drove around for an hour just trying to park. The hotel was very nice and clean and I would’ve loved to stay longer but there’s times you can’t be parked in garages or on the street, so if you leave and come back there is no way to get out of the car and into the hotel unless you want a parking ticket or towed. Parking is just impossible here. I really wish I could’ve enjoyed the hotel without worrying about getting my car towed all night.

I love this place!
This is an absolute gem of a place. This is not your usual hotel. It's more of a small apartment. It's clean, you have everything you could possibly need, and the staff is super friendly

Very Comfortable
Very comfortable place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was no parking at the hotel. That being said the hotel did give you a 20% discount at a nearby parking garage that was only 3 blocks away.
