I understand that you stayed with us and ate at Cham Garden Restaurant towards the end of the Tet holidays and on Valentine’s evening when we were fully booked and extremely busy, which led to longer waiting times and errors with your order. The Tet holiday is very important to the Vietnamese people, and we were staffed thinner than usual, because we wanted to give each of our employees the opportunity to spend some time with their families during the holidays. This is no excuse; I am just providing some background. As a little gesture, we did not charge you for the dessert on the evening, and when my son apologized to you for the waiting time, you said it’s ok. The next morning during breakfast when my sister-in-law spoke to you, you did not tell her that you are disappointed about dinner and breakfast, otherwise she would have reacted differently. I must say that I prefer to be given the chance to make it up to my guests right away when they are not happy rather than being told everything is ok and then surprised with a bad review. As you can see from the feedback and ratings on various platforms, your experience is not shared by most of our guests, and this is why we are indeed rated at the top among all restaurants in Phan Thiet.
