Impressionnant et abordable River Cottage

Surplombant le premier bassin Ć  saumon de la riviĆØre ChĆ©ticamp, en bordure du parc national des Highlands, et Ć  quelques minutes du village acadien franƧais de ChĆ©ticamp, ce joyau plaira Ć  votre Ć¢me.

Semblant Ć©loignĆ©, le village actif est Ć  seulement 2 minutes avec une pharmacie, une Ć©picerie, des magasins de beautĆ©, des boutiques de cadeaux, des boulangeries, des musĆ©es, des visites de baleines, etc. Mais au chalet, vous ĆŖtes entourĆ© d'intimitĆ© d'arbres, de montagnes et de la riviĆØre Cheticamp. Deux pĆ¢tĆ©s de maisons se trouvent le golfe du Saint-Laurent oĆ¹ la riviĆØre ChĆ©ticamp se dĆ©verse dans la plage salĆ©e.

La cabine est petite mais la vue est large. Offrant une vue complĆØte sur la riviĆØre Cheticamp et le parc national des Highlands, votre vue change constamment. Nous observons des orignaux, des ours, des cerfs, des coyotes, des tamias, des Ć©cureuils et des aigles lorsqu'ils traversent la riviĆØre et butinent la flore. Profitez des feux de camp en soirĆ©e dans le foyer. Faites du canoĆ« sur la riviĆØre Ć  marĆ©e haute ou asseyez-vous et dĆ©tendez-vous sur la pelouse avec une vue digne des ailes d'Angel.

ƀ l'intĆ©rieur de la cabine, il y a un canapĆ© et des chaises confortables, une tĆ©lĆ©vision Ć  Ć©cran plat, un lecteur DVD, un lecteur CD, une cuisine complĆØte et une salle de bains standard.

La pĆŖche est un moulinet Ć  mouche uniquement depuis la piscine. C'est une riviĆØre programmĆ©e, donc Ā«capture et remise Ć  l'eauĀ». Vous pouvez Ć©galement pĆŖcher la truite.

Il s'agit de notre cabine privƩe, nous la maintenons donc avec le confort que nous attendons pour la vie quotidienne.
Nous avons des Ʃquipements extƩrieurs tels que Bar-B-Que, Fire Pit, tables de pique-nique et chaises extƩrieures.

Comfy cozy cottage with an amazing view of the Highlands and Cheticamp River, close to the National park and close to amenities and restaurant. Most importantly, a 2 minute drive from the Aucoin bakery, the very best and must popular spot in Cape Breton! Perfect for a little get away.

Our second stay at Angel's View did not disappoint. The vews and location are simply stunning and the house is everything you need. We really appreciated the personal left for us when we arrived. We will definitely be returning again.

Stayed 4 nights - lost one due to post-tropical storm Lee. A great stay, though the weather didnā€™t cooperate. Had wind in rain 3 of the 4 days, oh well. Well equipped with comfortable furniture. Not luxury, but nice. Really enjoyed the stay.

The house was warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed down to seasoned cast iron skillets and good knives. The view from the house was amazing! The view got even better when sitting in the yard which sits on a bluff overlooking the Chetticamp River with mountains in the distance and fields of willow below us. Eagles were commonly sighted and there was a lot of beaver activity in the river below. Very peaceful and serene. We would definitely visit this house again when in the area! Just lovely!

The cottage has two rooms, a living room, a bathroom and a small kitchen and is located in a beautiful property overlooking the River. In our experience, the view on the River is really the highlight of this property - it is just majestic. There also are a lot of birds in the surrounding forest and it is beautiful to hear them sing throughout the day. There is an outdoor picnic table perfect for lunches but not so much for supper as it was buggy at the end of the day. Some dishes were not clean and we could live with it as we understand housekeeping might not have the time to check all the dishes - however, the fridge was not clean and this was a problem for us. We liked the air conditioning. All in all, we recommend this accommodation - beautiful and peaceful setting with a rustic yet comprehensively furnished cottage. Thank you.

The view out our front window looked like a picture. The location was absolutely perfect as a jump off point for entering the national park each day. Itā€™s close to stores and restaurants. The house is fully furnished with everything youā€™ll need to be comfortable and beyond. Our host was very accommodating and when we had questions she was quick to respond.

This place is simply magical if you're looking for serenity and a break from the cities. It's situated back from a dirt road, overlooks a river, and is adjacent to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Be aware that water is supplied from a tank, so you'll need to conserve. We didn't find that to be a problem for us. We could have stayed much longer!

This rental and the location were so perfect for us that we are already discussing a second Cape Breton trip in the next couple years if we can get the same place. The cottage had everything we needed plus a magical view over the river into the park mountains. I literally watched an eagle from above. We travel with two dogs and found a variety of walking paths for them in the woods and along and down to the river, or could walk to the beach just down the road and then along the beach or the pond by the beach. There is easy access to the most scenic drives and trails in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the visitors center to buy a pass is nearby, as well as an amazing bakery to get your snacks for your outing. The owner answered any questions we had clearly and promptly. Can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for four days and it was wonderful! Even though the national park was closed and only open to thru traffic due to hurricane FionaĀ“s legacies, this little paradise wasnĀ“t affected at all and we spent a heavenly time overlooking ChĆ©ticamp River. Communication with Jacqueline was just great! This is a real gem!

Staying at Angels View is highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay at Jacquis place for the second time. The house does include everything thatā€™s needed for the stay. We really loved sitting in the garden and enjoying the nature around. We even met Jacqui and enjoyed getting to know her and Juno for the first time and chatting around. The house has a good location for hiking around at Cape Breton Nationalparc and is very close so ChĆ©ticamp itself.

Quite simply, one of the most amazing views I have ever seen anywhere was out the living room window of this lovely cottage. When you add in eagles, moose (a couple of feet from the window!) , beavers and numerous other interesting little animals and birds, it's was a very memorable stay.

This little cottage is absolutely charming both inside and outside and I felt relaxed and at home right away. The setting of course is idyllic with the ever-changing view of the river and mountains. I could have sat for hours and just taken in the sights and sounds of nature. Inside the cottage is immaculate, well arranged and very comfortable. The surroundings are amazing... I paddled on the river, hiked in the park, drove through the mountains and marveled at the spectacular fall colors. And all the while just mesmerized by the view... it's hard to look away from such a beautiful scene. I just can't say enough about how much I enjoyed just being there. Fantastic view of river and mountains from awesome picture window.saw multiple bald eagles including a jeuvenile and both adults in a tree on the property.didnt see any other wildlife but I didnt care .House was great but we forgot our two water bottles in the fridge.Hope someone can mail them to us

This is our second stay at Angel View. The view truly is stunning and the close proximity to the Cabot Trail, the beach and walking trails is exactly what we were looking for. The cottage kitchen is well equipped; all was clean and comfortable-perfect for a couple with a pup (it would be tight for more than that-and not safe for little children with the cliff at the front of the cottage). We do feel that the cottage could use some updating but for us it was fine. We appreciated the air conditioner in the kitchen since it was 30 degrees. Richard the caretaker showed up to bring us more water and firewood which was great. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

We pulled in the yard and we were in total awe at the view!! Angel's View is just that! The property was well looked after, and the atmosphere was serene and relaxing. The cottage inside was immaculate with every comfort of home. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had before our trip. Recommended highly!!!!

We normally try to camp in wooded areas with privacy and access to trails and a lake or beach nearby, but trailer needed work this year, so we tried a cottage for the first time in 10 years. We couldn't have had a better experience here, it's secluded with a beautiful view and close to the Skyline Trail on the Cabot Trail. I could have spent all day looking through binoculars and staring out at this amazing view and enjoying visits from Charlie (the little dog next door is sweet!) and then bonfire each night with mountains and a full moon illuminating the river as the backdrop. Inside was very clean, & you'll find everything you need and then sit for hours in the window seat. One thing to note is that the twin beds in 2nd bedroom are small, but fit the 2 average height 14 year olds we had with us, and we slept great in the room with the double. Need to be careful of water usage (just basics, don't let water run) we're used to stricter usage when camping, so we had no problem. Everything was communicated well to us by the owner. I have recommended this place to many already and would love to come back again during a fall season <3
