« The farmhouse is rather charming and comfortable for the 8 folks we had staying. The beds were also comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was rather chilly as there is no heater provided? That might be worth looking into? Having the two bathrooms downstairs is a challenge but we made it work. One big complaint we did have was the animal urine odor throughout the house. « This was so close to easy hikes and fun for our kids. We enjoyed the peace and especially the birds and birdwatching. Beautiful surroundings and frequent sightings of 'the mountain' really made this a calming and restful getaway. Loved the ease of access to the troll and the beach was fantastic for watching the sound. »

« It was our yearly sibling gathering for the holidays and we usually do a large rental to accommodate all of us siblings and kids. This year we were also gathering for the funeral of a brother. While only some family stayed at the home, friends and family from Bellingham, Portland, Buckley, even Idaho and Texas came for meals, visiting, and games. « Didn't get entry code until 40 minutes after check in time. Was not a "peaceful farmhouse." Party upstairs made it impossible to sleep. Just left and drove home. Have used VRBO many times. This was my first bad experience. »
