Beach view luxury
A fantastic holiday which was made by the quality of the property and the help of Rodney who runs the show. The apartment is developed to an extremely high standard in terms of furnishings and appliances and was impeccably clean and well maintained. It was a delight to see the extra treats that were left for us on arrival which made us feel at home immediately. The location of the property both in the complex of beach view but also generally on the west coast was ideal for the best beaches and restaurants. Rodney is the star of the show - nothing is too much trouble - dinner reservations, excursions, travel and entertainment - everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend the property and will certainly be returning again.

Hugo and Jez were both incredible to host. These pleasant gentlemen weren't first timers to our island paradise but were here to have fun and ventured out to cricket, top tier restaurants and soaked up the sun, sea and sand. Highly recommend them to other hosts and would be happy to welcome them back again!.... Rodney.

Paradise!
We could not have asked for a better property or host for our recent trip to Barbados. Rodney goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone’s stay is a fantastic and memorable experience. The property and setting are beautiful. We were close to everything and had all of the amenities we could have wanted. Rodney is an excellent communicator and is willing and able to go the extra mile for his guests. This was the trip of a lifetime!

Amazing vacation
We had an amazing vacation and Rodney helped make that happen. He was always available to make recommendations and book meals and activities for us, both before we arrived and while we were on Barbados. Monique was also lovely and cleaned for us 3 times during our 2 weeks there. We will definitely be back as the apartment is great, the views amazing, and the location central to many things.

Outstanding Stay at the Beachview 309
Our stay was superb and communication with Rodney was 5 star. Before we even arrived Rodney was so helpful emailing us restaurant, bar, beach clubs, attractions and beach suggestions to make our visit the best! Upon arrival Rodney met us at the condo and gave us a tour of the beautiful property. The condo was stunning and spotless. Well prepared with everything we could need to stay in comfort. The view from the patio was the absolute best part of the condo. We could have sat there all day watching the ocean. Rodney had great beach toys and chairs available for a fun day at the beach. Pools on property were lovely. All in all it was one of our favourite trips to Barbados and we will be sure to be back and stay at 309 again! Thanks so much Rodney!!!! ❤️

Ten stars out of five!!!
This was our family's (my wife and I and three teenage daughters) first time to Barbados and my wife found this condo within minutes of looking on the Internet all based on its prior reviews. And, we can say with utmost confidence that both the property and Rodney lived up to it's expectation and more. The property or shall I condo is spacious, conveniently located and tastefully decorated by Rodney who is also an accomplished artist. That explains why it looks so good! We ate about half our meals in the condo during our stay so this was our perfect home away from home. As for Rodney, what can we say!? He was amazing, a difference maker really, and in the end our family now has a new friend. He was more than we could have asked for. Rodney was knowledgeable, reliable, helpful, responsive and very collaborative. He guided us to build a vacation that added structure with a purpose while enjoying time to relax, soak up the weather, the beaches and the ocean. With Rodney's help we ate at many great restaurants, saw the island and made sure we had timely and safe transportation wherever we needed to go. Whatever we needed Rodney was their to assist and always followed up to ensure everything was going smoothly. In the end, the whole trip was simply easy and Rodney is a huge part of this outcome. For that we are grateful. If you choose 309 (the number of the condo) we hope you create as many family memories as we did in the time we were there. Thank you Rodney!!!

William and his travel party were a delight to host as they allowed me to plan and assist in their itinerary of things to do on the island. Relaxing by the pool, enjoying the many restaurants and private boat ride were priority. It is my hope they will come again to our shores in the not too distant future!.....Rodney.

Beautiful Sea View Property and Amazing Host
Our family group of six adults enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is amazing - wonderful sea views and a comfortable outdoor terrace to enjoy them from, fully equipped kitchen, beds and baths providing everything you could possibly need during your stay. Rodney himself is delightful, a consummate host who takes great pleasure in curating a special Barbados holiday experience for his guests. Right from booking to check-out, Rodney was there for us with helpful recommendations and support. Natasha the housekeeper did a fantastic job of cleaning and replenishing the beautiful local flowers regularly during our 12 night stay. We heartily recommend you put your Barbados vacation in Rodney's capable hands and stay here!

It was Karen and her family first time to Barbados and I wanted to make sure that their inaugural visit had wonderful lasting memories. Barbados itself is beautiful and helps relax the soul, but genuinely Penthouse 309 and more specifically its wonderful host make this the most memorable experience you will likely ever have. To stay at Penthouse 309 with its very special host should be on every persons bucket list. We feel incredibly lucky as a family to have spent 16 nights there over Xmas. Rodney is the host of Penthouse 309 who exudes endless positivity, glorious creativity, deep care, unrivalled kindness and so much more. Rodney allows these special memories to be created by being the very best host in the business - providing customer service which is unsurpassed - a level of care you will unlikely encounter anywhere else. Everything is taken care of so perfectly from the moment you land on the island. From the best tables in every restaurant to the very best advice and itinerary you could wish for. The reputation Rodney has is being the very best host on the island - its amazing how highly people speak of him. A brand in his own right. Thank you, thank you, thank you Rodney!! The penthouse is simply amazing, everything you could ever want is there - so stylish and cool. So much care put into every single part of it - from the flowers to the amazing art Rodney has created. The view from the balcony is simply unbelievable and we are miss it so much. Sitting on the balcony in the morning when you walk up is very special indeed. Personally I have also never slept any better in the comfortable beds! I cannot recommend this experience in any stronger words. It's a perfect 10
We had the most fantastic time at apartment 309. Rodney is definitely the perfect superhost. Due to Covid we have had to carry this holiday over from last year and Rodney was constantly in touch with us over the last 18 months and he fully prepared us on the protocols before our arrival. The penthouse is spacious with an amazing outdoor living room and a great view. It is fully equipped in every area - especially in the kitchen and an amazing range of toiletries in the bathrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable. Rodney is a very friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge. He never failed to get us booked into the restaurants & trips we wanted. The Bay View complex is lovely with 3 pools and all the staff made us feel welcome. Whilst we were there, it was our daughter's ( Ella ) 18th birthday - what better place to celebrate it . Rodney booked us on a Cool Running's catamaran trip which was great and even managed to rustle up a bottle of pink fizz and a card for her. Many thanks Rodney. We had some memorable times and meals at the Seashed Beach Bar , Nishi restaurant in Holetown and Pier One at the yacht club in Port St Charles. We also enjoyed the cocktails at the Drift Ocean Terrace in Holetown and dining out at several other restaurants. Barbados is a fantastic destination for a holiday and we cannot recommend Rodney and penthouse 309 highly enough. Everybody is extremely friendly. Thank you Rodney & Barbados for a great time. We hope to see you again, very soon Rodney.

The amazing Mark, his lovely wife Amanda and teenage daughter Ella stayed with us for (2) glorious weeks of island living. It was their first time to Barbados and it was Ella's birthday simultaneously so there was lots to look forward to. This adventurous family took full advantage of all that our island had to offer and will need to return again and again as time didn't permit all of their desires to explore. Beyond Expecation
Extraordinary island, extraordinary apartment, and a most extraordinary host. My wife and I flew from the States to this sanctuary on March 1st. Upon our arrival, Rodney met us at his penthouse apartment and cared for us like it was a 5-Star resort. Inside we were greeted with the best the island has to offer; it’s best chocolate, bread, coffee, rum, and an assortment of drinks and other edibles. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and extremely well appointed. Every room had fresh flowers from the island that were replaced weekly. My wife and I travel often using Home Away and AirBnB hosts. One of my pet peeves is when we have to supply the entire apartment with the necessities such as wash soap, toilet paper, etc. Rodney had everything available in duplicate. Even when we purchased something we thought we needed, we found the same product available somewhere in the apartment. Rodney doesn’t miss anything. He made every one of our dinner reservations at the best restaurants. Even when we procrastinated, he found us table. He arranged all of our transportation with Derek Skeete, a taxi driver (if Derek had a website I could write a book regarding his efforts, service, and care). When the washer stopped working, Rodney had people there the next day to fix it. Nothing was difficult and we were never inconvenienced. The view, the pool and the people at Beach View were friendly and exceptional. My wife and I planned this trip for 1 ½ years to stay for a month and we had to leave early due to the coronavirus pandemic. Rodney and I had long talks regarding how the pandemic would affect the island. He was more worried about his friends and the island as a whole than he was himself though he too would experience the wrath of this pandemic. When my wife and I were discussing leaving, Rodney offered to make sure we would be housed if we couldn’t get home (think about that…he knew us for a few weeks and he was willing to make sure we were cared for). I want everyone reading this review to plan a stay with Rodney Arthur and the people of Barbados. In light of the world chaos around us, I couldn’t have been more impressed with how Rodney orchestrated our stay. My wife emphatically stated….”we get a do over”. Choose Rodney.

Fantastic, contemporary penthouse - Splendid View, Relax & More! Immaculate and stylish with everything you need. Well appointed furnishings, full kitchen and perfect balcony for ultimate relax and sunsets. Several lovely pools on-site and easy beach access. Rodney, the manager, is beyond helpful, professional and amazing! He knows this island paradise, offering an abundance of excellent insider knowledge and guidance. The trip was definitely dazzling with his suggestions and active help.... he goes above & beyond!! We golfed at Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland Golf Club.... stunning views with generous fairways. Our family enjoyed a private sunset cruise/ snorkeling with the sea turtles/shipwreck - arranged by Rodney. Perfect way to end our charming week. Many fab ($$$) restaurants within walking distance or short taxi away. Just saying.... 1 week is not enough time to explore everything! The island is larger than most think.... so take extra time to visit the Southside eateries/shopping/surfing scene. Don't miss Friday Fish Fry at Oistins with local arts vendors. St. Lawrence Gap and Maxwell's Beach has many more casual dining options and local flavor. Perfect for families, girls' trips or couples.... it has so much to offer - with relaxation and sunsets premier!

Perfection - Magical beyond Words - Penthouse 309 and The Legend that is called Rodney
It’s hard to put into words how magical our experience was in Barbados at Penthouse 309 in the Beach View hotel with Rodney as our host. This was a holiday when all the vital ingredients came together to create memories that will last forever. The ingredients: Barbados - simply paradise! Beach View - Such a great place. The pools are amazing. Everything is so very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. The facilities are exceptional. Incredible views from all angles. Trust me when I say that you can pay 3 times as much and you won’t get half the quality. Penthouse 309 - this is the start of the special, secret ingredients which made this trip so special. The penthouse is simply amazing. So very beautiful in its decor - modern and sleek. From a massive curved screen TV (with Netflix etc) to every kitchen facility you could dream of, the quality is outstanding. The beds are so comfortable along with the linen. Each of the 3 bedrooms are so spacious The color scheme and furnishings are wonderful. It felt instantly like a home from home. The balcony and the views are beyond spectacular - trust me, you won’t forget the first time you see the ocean after opening the large patio doors. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning to that view and a delight to watch the mind blowing sunsets Rodney - This is the man who makes all the above come together. This man is unlike anyone you will EVER deal with in any realm of hospitality. A true hero. A gentlemen beyond words. Such a talent. Trust me - I run a property management company and I know detail and great great people! This is a man who cares so so deeply about his guests and strives for perfection in every single area of what he does. This eye for care & detail was felt during every second of our trip. The penthouse for example is looked after so meticulously by Rodney - it’s as if he’s foreseen every possible want or desire you may have. It’s amazing really - only a pure talent would be able to do as he does. For over a year before the trip, Rodney was in touch offering kind advise and help. During the trip, every single detail was organised perfectly by Rodney. From all our restaurant bookings (and changes - sorry Rodney!), activities, car hire, what beach to go to daily (!) and just priceless advise on how to navigate the island. We are truly grateful for all his help - life is about creating memories and Rodney has been instrumental in making these memories so special. Thank you!!!!!!

Beautifully appointed spacious apartment with everything you need for your holiday, the beach chairs and umbrellas were great. Surrounding gardens and pool areas immaculate. We never tired of watching the sun set over the sea from our huge balcony. Beautiful quiet beach , restaurants and bars only short walk away. Thank you Rodney for your help and prompt replies during the booking process, for an amazing stock of food and drink on arrival and for advice on places to go. We all had a truly wonderful time.

Beyond Expectations!
The first thing that attracted us to the property were the pictures in the property profile. Let me tell you that your jaw will literally drop when you see Penthouse 309 in person. I guarantee you will have one of the best experiences EVER! First, the owner and Superhost Rodney, is godsent. We now consider him part of our family! He responded to every single request and question as we were planning our trip and all requests while on the island. We were traveling with our mothers and wanted to make this an unforgettable time for them. Rodney swooped in like a super hero! We asked him to help us plan a special surprise for them with balloons set up in one of the bedrooms. He went above and beyond providing balloons, a bottle of champagne, a card and a beautifully packaged gift. We were floored! Then, he helped us set up the best spa day we've ever had and a special celebration dinner. All of his recommendations are spot on! Whatever you need, Rodney delivers. Now about the Penthouse. It is so clean and fresh. When we entered, the essential oil diffuser was on and it felt like we walked into a spa! The decor... EXQUISITE. There is so much attention to detail!!! Rodney provided a thorough tour of the Penthouse explaining and pointing out every amenity available. And there are many! Every direction we turned during the tour we were saying oohs and ahhs! The large, fresh tropical floral arrangements in each room from the kitchen, to the living area, to the bedrooms...A++! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals, snacks, etc. There was coffee, tea, and many other essentials. The refrigerator was stocked with water, assorted juices, sodas, and BEER! There was even a bottle of rum and wine on the counter. Wow! Rodney also provided an assortment of fresh baked pastries, chocolates, a mini rum cake, and fresh fruit. Each bathroom is stocked with essential toiletries, extra toilet paper, wet wipes, towels, etc. In the laundry closet, there are lightweight Tommy Bahama beach chairs. We used them at the beautiful beach across the street. Don't miss going there. Oh my goodness! There are also three pools to enjoy on property, one of which is visible right from the amazingly furnished balcony! Oh and the sunset! It is visible right outside on the balcony. What a sight! We were planning our next trip back to Penthouse 309 before we even left! Book now. You will be happy you did! Thank you Rodney for one of the best experiences!

This exceptional property was made even more exceptional with having Superhost Rodney catering to your every wish. The apartment is beautiful with a very well equipped kitchen. Paynes Bay is lovely and so very convenient to many activities. If you are going to Barbados you certainly need to consider staying at #309 Beach View. Believe me when I say, you won’t be sorry.

The lovely hugger-in-chief, dearest Juanita, her amazingly tall son Preston, his beautiful wife and adorable kids stood at our penthouse apartment in our paradise island for (10) nights. This incredible family that hail from North Carolina are no strangers to Barbados as they have a history here. From start to finish there was just no faulting our holiday in Barbados. Rodney and his designer penthouse at Beach View made our first time in Barbados an experience we will never forget and a destination we cannot wait to return to. Rodney's communication is just simply amazing, with instant responses from the beginning Rodney helped us arrange our whole stay. He had some great recommendations from restaurants to activities and also landmark tourist spots to visit on the island. Rodney's kindness and thoughtfulness did not go unmissed - when we arrived my dad was greeted with a 50th birthday cake and card - he was ever so humbled, from the initial get go we knew we was in safe hands with Rodney! As soon as we walked through the door we was amazed at the apartment. Just like the pictures (well ever the better) the view just blew our breath away; it is simply amazing - looking over the beautiful west coast you can sit for hours and admire the location. The apartment is extremely clean and equipped with all appliances; anything you could possibly need Rodney has it covered. The lovely maid visited the apartment in the mid of our trip, she was really great in giving the property a freshen up and providing us with new linens, towels etc. We cannot rave about out experience enough! My parents and myself have travelled to many places but we can honestly say Barbados felt like home and place we will continue to visit for years to come. The people, the traditions, the beautiful beaches and not to mention the rum punch... you could just go on and on. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful and beyond beautiful with a great host then this is definitely it! We cannot wait to return. Thanks again Rodney! The O'Briens

Brett and his wonderful family came to spend (7) nights in Barbados to celebrate his 50th birthday and what a treat that was! They were ready to explore all that our beautiful island had to offer and enjoyed the people, local restaurants, water activities and even horseback riding. It is my hope that this charming family with their bright smiles will come back soon again and I will highly recommend them to other VRBO property owners wherever their travels may lead. Great condo, fab location and awesome host!
Our group of 4 stayed at Rodney's condo #309 for 9 days in March – what a find and the perfect place to celebrate a birthday Beautiful spacious apartment, stunning view from the huge balcony and in a great location Our host had thought of everything - super helpful prior to and during our visit with tips and offers to assist with just about anything we could think of. Rodney was on hand to welcome us, to show us around when we arrived, remaining contactable throughout our holiday, making sure we had everything we needed – and we did – the apartment has literally everything you need for the perfect holiday Located just a short stroll from bus stops that take you up and down the West coast to some great beaches and the supermarket in Holetown, there are several places to eat and drink in walking distance There are two pools at the complex, plenty of sunbeds and a great café Rodney knows Barbados, whatever you’re looking for, restaurants, taxis, beaches – anything! We used his recommended taxi service that helpfully stopped via the supermarket on our way in from the airport and that we then booked for an island tour and an unmissable Friday evening in Oistins Thank you Rodney - we had such a great time, we’d not hesitate to recommend Rodney’s place and we’ll definitely be back!

The lovely Jayne and her wonderful girlfriends, Carol, Sara and Jane came to celebrate Jane's birthday and of course to fulfill some rest and relaxation in our island paradise. It wasn't Jayne's first time to the island as they explored various beaches, restaurants and island tours. They left our apartment in great order and we highly recommend this group of ladies wherever their travels may lead. Great 3 bedroom condo . Rodney was an amazing host . Providing great tips on restaurants, excursions , taxis and any questions. The condo is clean and provided everything that our family needed . Pins coladas on the first day by the pool and great restaurants for the rest of the stay made it a great vacation.

Avi and his lovely family of wife and daughters stayed at our Penthouse apartment for a few days. They are no strangers to Barbados as they have visited several times before staying on the southern side of the island. This time around they opted to spend part of their holiday on the western coast enjoying the restaurants and beaches there. They left the apartment in great condition and we sincerely hope that they will return to Barbados much sooner rather than later. Rodney/Host.

Rodney was great to deal with, he met us when we arrived and kept in contact throughout our stay. Apartment is a home decorators dream, well set-up and very fashionable. Location on the west coast in fantastic, a 5 minute bus ride into Holetown with buses every 5 minutes or so. Lots of restaurants in Holetown, or the Cliff across the road.

One of the amazing things in having a holiday rental is meeting amazing people from around the world, Chris and his wonderful family were no exception! Great vacation !
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Rodney's place in Barbados. Condo had great layout, was super clean, quiet, had a well stocked kitchen and amazing view. Pool side was nice (people are friendly but mind their own business which was awesome). There is a great little restaurant on the property that has good food and is really convenient for a casual meal. Rodney was amazing host and we can't say enough about him. Tons of communication in advance. Helped guide us on everything from restaurants to car rental companies and was very accessible when we were there as well. Really great host that made the trip easy and fun. Cheers and thanks.

Simply Amazing!
From the very moment my vacation began until the end everything was simply amazing! Rodney was such a pleasure to work with and was an amazing host. With such a busy schedule and planning this trip with four other young ladies, details that I may have forgotten Rodney was sure to include in our many emails. Upon arrival we were picked up and greeted by O’Brien who was equally as wonderful in helping us with transportation anywhere we needed to go. Although there is a cafe on site we chose to stop at the grocery store to stalk up on essentials and snacks. Once we arrived to the condo Rodney was there to greet us with light refreshments which I was not expecting but once again such a warm welcome and kind gesture and provided a quick tour of the place. I thought the pictures I had viewed for months were beautiful but seeing everything in person and standing on the balcony with the perfect view of the ocean and pool took my breath away! There was more than enough space between the 3 bedrooms, main living room and large balcony area that we didn’t feel over crowded. The new renovations done recently with beautiful closets and new furnishings throughout the condo was was the icing on the cake for me. Rodney was also great suggesting and helping book reservations for activities around the island. The Mount Gay Rum tour and sunset cruise with cool runnings are memories I will never forget and made my birthday that much more special. Spa services from Tutch Spa also recommended by Rodney was another pleasurable experience. Kal and team created a spa like atmosphere right in our condo and the services were splendid. Dinner at Cin Cin which is less than 5 minutes away overlooking the ocean was another highlight and the food was absolutely amazing. I can’t rave enough about my experience. I’ve traveled to many places but can honestly say Barbados felt like home and place I will continue to visit for years to come. The people, the traditions, and the beautiful beaches I can go on and on. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful and beyond beautiful this is definitely it! I can’t wait to return. Thank you Rodney for your kindness, attention to detail and being an amazing host!

Pleasant visit to Barbados
My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for 4 nights. The condo was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities we could want. The wifi was good and worked perfectly. The property was very nice and clean with a great pool and 24 hour security. The location is convenient to Holetown and it's many restaurants and shopping. Out super host, Rodney, was great and responded to every request we had, from restaurant advice, to taxi drivers and beyond. We will be back!

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay, perfect location and perfect host Rodney
What an amazing place. Rodney was exceptionaly helpful from the start of our holiday, he is genuinely good man who wants you to be happy and enjoy your holiday. The apartment is superb, location perfect, beachover is paradise and a few steps more and your at Payne’s bay ( tamarind hotel and the house hotel). Restaurant : the cliff restaurant is walking distance, You are only a bus ride from, Il tiempo, holetown and the lone star restaurants too. We were a family of 5 with teenage boys 15 and 17 and they loved it just as much as we did and their sister who’s 9 too. Thanks Rodney we were sad to leave We will be back

Absolutely AMAZING!
This condo was nothing short of amazing! I went on a birthday trip with 5 of my friends & everyone loved it! There was enough room & space in the condo for all 6 of us. The condo literally had everything you need in it, my favorite spot was the balcony with the beautiful view. Rodney was the best host we could have he took care of everything before we arrived & while we was there. We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful
We loved our stay. The appartment was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The view from the balcony was amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the couch on the balcony. Rodney was extremely friendly and helpful.

Exactly What We Were Looking For
This location will not disappoint in the least. The view is exactly what you see in the picture. The location was fabulous. Rodney "Supa Host" and Shem were wonderful hosts. They were available whenever we reached out to them. Awesome!!! The condo was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pans and appliances. The pool was always clean and never crowded, the food at The Hut was delicious and the beach across the road was perfect. There are chairs and umbrellas in the condo to take over to the beach. Plenty of restaurants are within a 10 minute or less walk; The Cliff, Daphne's, Roti Den, De Clay Oven and more. The "Yellow Dollar Bus" picks you up right outside the condo. Super convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome Experience in Barbados
Our stay in Barbados was awesome. From our awesome living space, concierge service and adventures we had a great time. The living space was clean and the treats upon arrival was the icing on the cake. Rodney Arthur made sure we had what needed for our entire trip. He did everything from providing us with information before we arrived, taxies, and adventure set-ups. In the event of having questions or concerns, he did his due diligence in making sure everything was perfect. Thanks for the great service!

Just WOW!
If we could submit a 10-star review, we would. Rodney was so accommodating and such a gracious host. He helped set up our airport transfers and upon arrival, he gave us a tour of his beautiful Penthouse. The pictures don't lie and what you see online, which is so impressive, is pretty much what you get. The penthouse is immaculate, classy, and so spacious! It is ideally located right across the beach with crystal clear waters suitable for snorkeling. It also has various watersports and although we didn't get to check it out, it was steps away from the fish market. It is also located right in front of the bus stop with Holetown only a 10- minute bus ride. We feel as if we have made a family friend with Rodney; we felt so welcomed and any questions we had, he was just a text away. We will be sure to stay at Rodney's place next time we are in Barbados and will refer him to our friends and family.

Better than we could have imagined
Beach View #309 is the perfect place to base your vacation. It is so close to the beaches and the restaurants. We had a great time spending our days on the beach or by the pool, and then relaxing on the deck! The views are even better than the pictures! Rodney was great to work with in planning our trip! He was helpful before, during and after. Rodney knows the island and was able to assist us in choosing the right beaches and places to eat. He even lined up our golf outings! Don't hesitate to book this property, It was perfect for our vacation. It was even better than we could have hoped. The property is spectacular, the island is incredible and working with Rodney was a joy. Thank you Rodney for letting us use this great place!

Troy, Darla, Tate, Alexa and Kael all arrived to our lovely island and to our penthouse apartment from Iowa. This beautiful family had booked and corresponded many months ago and I fully anticipated their arrival. They wasted no time in exploring the great restaurants on the island like IL Tempio, Scarlet, The Cliff Beach Club and The Cliff in which they enjoyed and booked twice. Troy and Tate played on world class golf courses, The Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill and of course enjoyed the lovely turquoise beaches topped with a catamaran morning cruise with Cool Runnings. I had the honour and great pleasure one evening when they invited me over to the apartment to enjoy glasses of wine, with a platter of great cheeses, grapes, meats and biscuits while getting to know them better. I want to thank this warm, friendly and smiling family for choosing Barbados and our apartment and I do look forward to their promises of coming back once again in the near future! Amazing place and even better host !!
Where to begin... first off Rodney is absolutely a genuine, amazing guy! His warmth in welcoming us is what made us feel at home! We arrived a little early and waited for the place to be cleaned having a quick lunch downstairs at the "hut". I had the flying fish sandwich which was tasty! The girls working the stand are nice as well. The place-just as pictured! The view from the living room and both rooms were breathtaking! The other room doesn't have a view but that was fine for us. We had 3 adults and one 1.5 yr old. The kitchen had everything you could need and Rodney was such a sweetheart to welcome us with some waters (both still and sparkling-classy touch) strawberries and some chips, etc. The restrooms were amazingly clean which is always important to me. He provides beach towels and chairs to bring across the street to the beach. When I say across the street, the streets in Barbados are not big so it's literally at 2 minute walk. I was amazed by the amount of towels he provided too! Super great to have extra towels without always needed to feel like your towels still wet from taking the previous shower. We only stayed for a few nights so didn't need to use the washer / dryer but I loved having the option to. The air conditioner works well which is needed during that humidity. The area- I love the location! Close to several restaurants from local to fancy. We learned how to take the bus and once we did it was easy to use! Highly recommend using that as it's only $2 us. And it's quite the experience lol. Major highlight- tides beach club for lunch !!!! Most memorable dining experience in a long time, from the view to food and service! Expensive but worth it!!!! We ate at a little local place that had amazing chicken and rice walking distance as well. Grocery store was under construction while we were there so we brought some snacks from the gas station but again didn't need much since we were there such a short time. Beach and pool were spectacular! The pool has a side with shallow water for children and plenty of chairs around for use. There is a gated security entrance which makes a nice amenity but to be quite honest you do not need it as this is one of the safest feeling travel spots I have been to! We walked around 2 females at night, not problems! Everyone was so nice to my son too when we were out and about. I cannot wait to go back and hoping visiting again hopefully sooner than later. Amazing Penthouse
This penthouse is exactly how it looks in the photos. It's well equipped with everything you will need for a great holiday. Rodney the property manager was in touch with us from the day we made the booking. We were getting married in Barbados and Rodney was always there for advice if required and when we arrived there was a really nice welcome pack which was a nice touch after a long flight. I really don't have any negatives about this penthouse and sitting out on the sofa out on the balcony looking out at paradise was breathtaking and total relaxation. The penthouse location is ideal with all the best beaches and restraunts on the west coast within walking distance or a short journey on the reggae bus and they are very cheap and lots of fun. We will definitely return to this apartment for another perfect holiday in paradise.

Barry and Gail arrived to our penthouse apartment for a very special two week holiday. This lovely couple chose Barbados to tie the knot and got married on one of our lovely beaches with turquoise waters and the sun setting in the background, amazing!!!!
