The property was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed every second once we learned how to navigate it. There was so much to do and everything was so clean and comfortable.

We arrived on a Saturday early in the day. There were problems with the hot water all through the weekend. We were nicely taken care of on Monday as they moved us to another building. Having said that, we think they need to have a more immediate response to addressing the issue at hand for the comfort and experience of their customers.

We rented the property through Expedia, when we arrived we were told the room we requested was not available. Management told us we should have not gone through Expedia, even thou when in the past we rented direct we were also not given the property we requested. Management did not seem concerned that we were very unhappy, we were actually told it is the industry standard to be given a room not necessarily the room requested. We will probably stay here again just because the choices are limited for ocean front but have lower expectations going forward and are willing to share the experience with anyone that ask.

Concerns: Condo was not clean around/under the furniture. Thermostat would not change the temperature. Ice maker was not making ice. Shower had mold/mildew. I feel that for the price we paid, there should not have been problems like above.

Beautiful Carolina coastline
This was a New Year's Eve trip, an annual event my wife and I take somewhere in the southeast. The property is great overall and I would stay here again. I wish the young lady at the front was a little more cordial and welcoming. I called the front desk to inquire why I didn't receive the room that I reserved and was greeted with attitude.

Variety of room and villa and house options. The option to stay off the main property was a surprise but turned out to be a good one. Looking forward to returning and staying in the main area next time.

The property was the absolute nicest place we have ever stayed at. The grounds were so beautiful. Our resort was so quiet and nice. Every one of the employees at Litchfield by the sea was so nice. It was our best vacation ever. The beach is also perfect. We will return soon . Thanks.

Never again
We felt like we were at a retirement community. No fun. Too stiff... nothing fun to there. No pool side bar as it said. Bugs in room, security was rude. Will never be back

Nice but could be cleaner
Very nice room. the bedroom window has blinds to block light but was not enough to make the room dark. The outside lights still lit up the bedroom quite a bit. The cleanliness could have been better. There was hair in the bathroom and the floors left our feet black. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.

I book golf view and got something else. When arrive to the room the shower, kitchen sink was full of black mold, no towels or toilet paper the sleeper sofa was dirty and ripped also some roaches and bugs. I call front desk and the receptionist told me that she was new and couldn't do nothing to help.

It sucked. From the time I checked in, until my room was downgraded, I stayed one night and have yet to receive my refund I’m sure it’s a great place but I never saw the beach bc I didn’t know how to get there on the resort

This property is great but it could be a lot better. Most places here are not convenient to the Ocean. The elevator at Seaside is super slow and very HOT inside. No air at all. If you rent umbrellas you have to park at one place and then walk a long ways to another location to use your rented chairs and umbrellas. The whole system could use an overhaul.Some of the amenties like the Ice Cream shop were not open or available. Just needs the right people to run this place and it would be great again.

Love the location- The room was ok- Minor maintenance and minor housekeeping issues- Outlet covers missing. Minor paint touch up needed. Tiny tv in bedroom-smaller than my laptop- But not a huge negative. Hair tie from previous guest found. My room internet did not work-connected to room next door- The worst thing about the room was the comforter on the bed- felt nasty- Easy fix buy non floral and use a modern one.

Type of room that was reserved was not given. No adjustment for lesser quality room with over 3 hours of phone calls over 4 days. Billing was consistently incorrect. No irons in room; Tiny soap bars functionally unusable. Television was miniature sized; hardly fit in oversized entertainment center. No desks in room. Overall a poor stay experience. Still attempting to clear $317.10 in debit that was charged to my account.

AWFUL! The WORST experience ever !!!
Awful! I have never had such a bad experience. DO NOT STAY HERE is what I would tell everyone... this experience has me really questioning my ever using hotels.com too. The place was simply the worst ever and completely ruined our vacation. The beds were really bad. When we laid down it just sank like it had no support and a broken box underneath. I felt like my head and feet were both pointing to the roof. I understand that people have different preferences to the softness of the mattress and you can't please everyone BUT these beds were not something you could sleep on. My wife ended up sleeping on the couch and I have a bad back ache. The bathroom hangers were so nasty I almost threw up when I went to hang my clothes. The carpet was nasty and ripping at the seams. There was no hot water on days 3 and 4 of our stays so we had no choice but to shower in cold water. I mean the whole experience was awful!!!

We thought we were getting an oceanfront room, but did not and were still able to have a great trip. The beach is really quick walk or drive away and the room looked brand new. Would definitely stay here again!
