THE WELCOME

This is the perfect place for everyone who loves sophisticated living, good food, history, art, and just having fun. Pierre Nicole is located in the 5th arrondissement or the Left Bank or Latin Quarter. The Latin Quarter is home to the Sorbonne University and student-filled cafes. It is also known for the Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Plants botanical gardens, the National Museum of Natural History and the stately Pantheon building that holds the remains of notables like Voltaire and Marie Curie.

You will be greeted at the apartment upon arrival by our American representative, who will give you a tour of the apartment, explain how things work, point out items of interest in the neighborhood, answer your questions and lastly give you the keys to your apartment.

We are located just minutes from the Rue Mouffetard Market, Marche Monge and the Marche Maubert.

THE LOCATION AND NEIGHBORHOOD

The 5th arrondissement is the oldest arrondissement in Paris, and was firsts built by the Romans. The name Latin Quarter come from the Middle Ages when the students here were taught in Latin.

As with most places in Paris we are conveniently located to the 'Velib' system of shared bikes, as well as other brands.

METRO STATIONS
- 5 minutes to Station Luxembourg (RER Line B)
- 8 minutes to Station Saint Jacques (Metro Line 6)
- 19 minutes to Station Les Gobelins (Metro Line 7)

OTHER LOCAL INTERESTS

- There is an open-air market every Saturday morning on the Boulevard de Port Royal which is a 3-minute walk.
- There is Gospel singing at the Church across the street on Sundays.
- RER-B at Port Royal is 5-minutes away as well as buses 83, 84, 87, 63, 21, and 27 are all within a 10-minute walk.
- There is a supermarket just across the street.

THE APARTMENT

Pierre Nicole is a 2-bedroom apartment (750 square feet or 70 square meters) in a traditional French building. The apartment opens onto a green area at the back which is very peaceful. It is modern, comfortable, and functional, decorated with top quality finishes.

You enter the apartment into a foyer that gives you access to the living area to your right and to the left if the sleeping zone as well as the bathroom and toilet.

The apartment has WIFI, unlimited calling to more than 100 countries, and Cable with large wall-mounted flat-screen TV (Netflix and many other international channels). There are books and magazines for you to explore.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso machine and all of the cooking equipment you’ll need. There’s also a combination washer/dryer.

The apartment has double-glazed windows. It is a very bright apartment.

On the back of the apartment is a very nice balcony which overlooks a luxurious green area. It is the perfect place for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The master bedroom provides a queen-sized bed with reading lights, built-in closets with lots of storage space.

The second bedroom uses a comfortable sleeper-sofa providing a 140cm bed. The room also includes a small office area.

The bathroom has a large bathtub with a handheld shower with plenty of hot water. Additionally, a sink and a hairdryer at your convenience.

For your comfort there is a separate toilet.

A comprehensive apartment guide includes operating instructions for all the apartment’s appliances as well as local information and emergency numbers.

This is a non-smoking apartment.

Concierge Services: First class concierge services are available, including personalized trip planning, restaurant suggestions and reservations, specialized walking tours, private excursions with a driver, limousine service, and personal shopping. If there's something you have in mind, don't hesitate to inquire.

What you will get from us: We will work with you to provide answers to all your questions before you leave home and will provide detailed instructions for getting to the apartment, regardless of your mode of transportation. We will offer to book a car service for you, which will streamline the arrival/departure process. We will be there to greet you, help with your luggage, and provide an informative tour of the apartment, explaining how everything works. We will give you a brief introduction to your new neighborhood so you can find all the important things, and can also give recommendations for our favorite bistros, brasseries, cafes, and restaurants, and help make reservations as appropriate. We are only a telephone call away, should you need help, while in our care.

This was an ideal spot for exploring Paris for my husband and me. The apartment is bright and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and charming little balcony for unwinding at the end of the day. Great location with many of the major landmarks easily walkable, as well as markets, bakeries and restaurants all around you. We had some issues with the wifi but it wasn't a big deal since we were out and about most of the time, soaking up this gorgeous city!

This rental was a comfortable and quiet place to come back to at the end of a Paris day. The treed courtyard behind it offers a leafy view. The well-equipped kitchen meant we could host a friend for dinner. The walks to metro are a bit long, but we used Raspail, Notre Dame des Champs, and could get everywhere we needed. Short walk to Jardin du Luxembourg.

My husband and I and our adult son very much enjoyed staying in this lovely, spacious apartment in the quiet, non-touristy Val de Grace neighborhood. We walked everywhere and came back to a very comfortable home. The floor plan is excellent with the bedrooms well-separated from the kitchen and living areas. Communication with David was perfect, and he was extremely kind to meet us a bit early after our long flight from San Francisco. A big thank you to David from all of us.

The location is close to the Port Royal Metro, perfect for taking the train in from CDG airport. Conveniently there is a small grocery across the street. Local restaurants are very friendly and the food is delicious without being very expensive. So close to Luxembourg Gardens you can stroll through the park every day. The park even has an area with some exercise equipment and the park is also close for a nice jog. The apartment is quiet. The bed is comfortable and we loved being able to do a load of laundry before we left Paris for more travels in France. The host, David, is super helpful and accomodating. We'd book again our next visit to Paris.

David’s apartment is in a great location, and is very quiet for being in the city. There was plenty of room for the three of us, and we enjoyed peaceful mornings there before heading out for the day. The windows across the back make it feel airy and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was helpful to be able to run a load of wash. We were happy with our stay.

Lovely appointed property. The terrace is calm and lovely for morning cafe and in the evening a glass of wine. Three metro stations within easy walking distance including the RER B line. My wife and I spent five lovely nights in this apartment. Very close to Jarden de Luxembourg and many of main sites in Paris. Patisseries close by for fresh croissants and the baguettes. Small supermarket right across the street. The place is very clean and comfortable. The sliding glass doors in the back let in a lot of natural light. It was a pleasure to stay there.

For a Paris apartment this is hard to beat: spacious (especially for Paris - huge bedrooms!), the living areas full of light, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and absolutely fully-equipped down to details like kitchen knives that don't suck and the fastest WiFi I've ever experienced in any rental property anywhere. And it's two blocks from the RER B and the Luxembourg Gardens. This is the kind of place I expect I'll be hard-pressed to book again because after it's been on the market for six months it's just never going to be empty. But the next time I'm in Paris, it'll be the first place I try.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful apartment. It is close to transit and there are so many shops nearby for essentials and cafƩs for meals. Our contact, David, was very kind and quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely book again.
