The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early. »

« Really lovely stay. I was working nearby and a solo traveller. Felt very welcome and safe. Lauren was so friendly showed me to my room and even offered to carry my very heavy bag. Food very good had the fish and Chips all cooked fresh. Room very clean and had everything I needed very cosy. Although on a busy main road hardly heard the traffic. I would highly recommend »

Josh, the General Manager, displays excellent customer service skills. He was very helpful and understanding of a request beyond our control; and always seemed upbeat. « Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. Finally, as we were visiting Halifax, the short walk to the train station was a bonus. Would...
